Jets 0-2 vs bills this year. Does Rex Ryan survive the year?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (25 November 2014 - 10:50 PM) The JETS really sucked a fat one last night
ganggreen2003 Icon : (25 November 2014 - 11:34 PM) Man the JETS are a 3 ring circus or American Horror Story: FREAK SHOW!!!!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:45 AM) Jets starting Geno again.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:45 AM) FIRE IDZIK,
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:45 AM) I really hope the JEts completely clean house this offseason and get rid of everyone, it's time.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:54 AM) We need to keep getting embarrassed every week to ensure that. That is why I don't give a shit about getting destroyed, it makes the team look like more of a joke and forces Woody to make real changes
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:55 AM) Like how do you get blown out by a team that didn't practice while you had 2 weeks to prepare?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:55 AM) That kind of stuff may force Woody to make the big changes and fire everyone
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:55 AM) John Idzik has handled the QB situation terribly. 2 times he pretty much handed the job to his draft pick
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:56 AM) Besides Sheldon Richardson, his drafts have been awful.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:57 AM) Maybe Woody will clean house and go all out for Jim Harbaugh, that probably won't happen though but it would be a franchise changer.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:07 AM) Harbaugh would be amazing...but because it makes sense it won't be done
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 AM) According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets blocked coach Rex Ryan from talking to Mehta about a bye-week visit to his ailing father, legendary NFL defensive guru Buddy Ryan. Buddy, who rose to prominence as defensive coordinator of the ’85 Bears and then coached the Eagles and Cardinals, is battling cancer.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) Mehta interprets the muzzling of Rex Ryan as proof positive that, once the season ends, Ryan will no longer be the team’s head coach. Apparently, the team fears that Rex would become more sympathetic in the eyes of the fan base if he’s dumped by the team at a time when his father is fighting a serious illness.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:05 AM) Mehta is an idiot
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:25 AM) If colt McCoy lights it up do the jets make a move?
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:27 AM) I don't even care what they do for a while
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:28 AM) The team is a catastrophe
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:29 AM) I didn't see the game
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:29 AM) I remember the first bills game though I'm guessing it was like that with more sleeping in the end zone
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:32 AM) I'm with 0099...I hope they keep getting destroyed
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 11:33 AM) it's a very Jets-esque move to sign McCoy if he does well
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:53 AM) I think they sign RGIII, Cutler, or Bradford
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:10 PM) why not all three
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 PM) Knowing this team, I wouldn't put that past them
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:07 PM) RAUL FOR QB
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:10 PM) the only real choice
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:10 PM) almost uefa time
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) RAUL>SMITHSIAH, JUST ACCEPT IT

santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:07 PM) Rocking the atletico kit today 4-0 THE RAUL INFLUENCE
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:15 PM) Haha you should make that into some kind of logo and put it in your sig

i can't hate on steelers being number 1. they went 3-1 with a 2nd/3rd string QB and there defense looks amazing.

Records dont always tell the story. While I agree that we should be #1, I say it more because of our strength of schedule and more than record.

You definitely have to agree with 115 also with the way they've played with backup QB's and their DEfense has been lights out. I'm waiting to see how they perform against a quality team though.

Well Im on the opposite end I dont think the Jets are number one as of right now the way they were exposed the last 5 plus quarters. They could easliy be 4-2 right now and to many games have been to close for comfort(three of the six).

I honestly have no idea where Id rate them after week six and the end of week five.

5-1 is one thing but I dont like the fact of the defense being so exposed.

Put it this way didnt Denver go like 6-0 last year to start and Miami went 7-0 one season. Both teams ended up imploding and didnt make the playoffs.

Basically in order for them to be a legitmate number one ranking the defense needs to play more solid and quit giving up so many passing yards and points like it has lately.

I dont fall into that best record early in the season crap.I watch for solid play all around.Winning games by the skin of your teeth doesnt rank a team number one in my book. Things can change fast in the NFL.

It is a long season and the Jets have to play some solid teams yet. I will wait for some solid play and wins before I crown them number one

I would put the Steelers in #1 then Jets Ravens Pats. I know the Steelers are 3-1 but that is because they had a bye. After this week we couls have a log jam at 4-1. We have a spotty QB who should work through it but right now we are struggling again on Offense And our D has been good but also will improve. I do think we will get better as we get healthy in the next 2 weeks and then we may be able to show we are the best.

That happens due to the schedule gods. the giants went 5-0 last year playing 5 horrible teams and were considered a top 3-4 team by most rankings, but as there schedule evened out they went 8-8 on the season

RobJet don't be fooled by the passing defnse those stats are due to one Revis 's injury and two because teams can't run on us unless we want them to like denver we baited them to run more and pass less and we got the W. but I agree ramkings mean less to me that wins.

Their only loss was also to Baltimore. Winning 3 out of 4 with Dennis Dixon/Charlie Batch has to be worth something once you get Roethlisberger back.

I'm shocked LaCanfora has us way up at #3. After we beat the Patrots in Week 2 he still had them ranked ahead of us.

Looks good. Mine would be:

Pitt
NYJ
Bal
NE
Ind
Phil
Ten
NYG (I hate having them that high, because they are a totally different team when they pass rush gets slowed, but right now it isn't)
Atl
NO
Mia
KC
Wash
GB
Hou
----->at this point I officially say these are crappy teams, and I think Houston is a "worst call all season" away from being in this group
TB
Chi (defense is barely holding this team together from being really, really bad)
Sea
Minn
StL
Den
SD
Ari
Cinn
Jax
Oak
Dal
Det
Cle
Car (I thought Carolina's defense was going to keep them alive and in competition this season, boy was I wrong)
Buff

Also, if an AFC team doesn't win the SB this year, it should get replayed 99 more times, because they'll win it every other time. The NFL is weak. GB was way underrated heading into last season and was overhyped for this one, and NO has totally come apart. People forgot Atl had a below average pass defense all last season and it is starting to come back this one.

If the Cowboys franchise shut down, the media would still have them as a preseason SB pick. Dallas could sink into the ocean and ESPN would still send John Clayton and a camera man to the gulf of Mexico seabed to film Jerry Jones' stupid dome
