I think in his head he knows he's done but in his heart he's not willing to admit it yet. He's 35 now, injuries won't heal as fast for him anymore. I always thought if he did TV he'd do better as a in studio analyst for NFL Network or ESPN. I think he'd be really good at breaking down film on a show like Playbook on NFL Network.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

I hope he does well and retires from football with dignity and class.
This may open the door to bigger and better for him.

Dear Chadwick Pennington
I as well as a lot of fans have been tough on you, poked fun and laughed at you. Kicked you while you were down. You were dead to me when you went to the fish (although a business move for you) I understand. However I hated it. You helped the Squid taste what the playoffs were like, they couldn't of done it without you. You beat the Jets to get your revenge week 16. I'm still bitter about the freak wrist injury. Chad, how did it happen? Mrs. Pennington failed to give you a wholesome healthy diet when you were younger? Did she take you off the titty to quickly? Jeesh!.
Chad to me you were the QB that could have been SO much more. The genius stuck with a slapstick body. Had you avoided injuries to the throwing shoulder, had you not been so unfortunate, had you had, say a stronger frame I do believe you could have been the one the Jets could have won with. I remember friends of mine (fellow Jets fans) sitting around, watching games early in your career. I can't remember the last time I've been so comfortable down late in the 4th Quarter. Or up by a small margin knowing that we needed a long drive to use clock. You managed on numerous occasions to firmly cement a game using your prowess. I still cringe with thoughts of facing the Patriots and having Baffon Edwards get out coached continually. I realize it wasn't your fault. The 3rd and 10 draw calls were classic moron mistakes that had nothing to do with you. However after the surgeries I was pissed you couldn't complete a 15 yard out. I remember it took you a full year to realize you couldn't make all the throws. I remember the countless sideline passes that were picked off for pick 6's. I do believe had you had your velocity and power like you had when you were drafted you'd probably still be here.
It's been a love/hate relationship but for what it's worth, you were one of the most ballsy, tough muthaf*ckas I've ever seen. Must be something they give QB's that go to Marshall.
Here's to hoping you have a great career behind the broadcast booth or on the sideline as a coach in some capacity. However if you see a play on special teams or an off tackle run edging to your sideline, do yourself a favor and GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!
Sincerely- Your Fan.
