Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:17 PM) I'm excited to start researching potential draft prospects for us, I have no idea really who the top guys are this year.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:17 PM) Look at all the first round top qb draft pick busts over the years. Even most of the analysts arent sure about any of the qbs this year
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:17 PM) I can not believe u could post such a thing about THE DUCK
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:17 PM) I'll be more excited if Idzik was fired. I'm interested to see who our next HC is too
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:19 PM) Bill cowher and THE DUCK

MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:22 PM) Its all hit of miss
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:24 PM) Yeah and thats what Im saying. So you changed your tune now?
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:25 PM) No one believes any of the qbs coming out this year is NFL ready
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:25 PM) Talk about all the recent QBs that were taken and have done well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:26 PM) not true, some believe in the QBs this year. Some don't.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:26 PM) NO
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:26 PM) SUCK FOR THE DUCK
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:27 PM) I've seen tweets from NFL people that think Winston's skills are NFL ready. Has maturity issues though
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:27 PM) Yeah but most of those years there more qbs that were thought to be NFL ready. The last few years hasnt been that way
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:28 PM) Its hard to go against Winston
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:28 PM) I rather have a high pick regardless, even if you trade back, it's valuable.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:28 PM) the guy has not lost a game in 2 years as a starter
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:28 PM) Trade with the redskins
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) Maybe they will give us 3 1st round pikcs
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) picks
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) Heck I think Maniel will be a huge bust. I actually hope he is because he was a major dickhead in college acting like he was the next Brady or Peyton Manning
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) I'm no QB expert, but I think Winston shows a lot of ability to be a franchise QB. Guy has amazing pocket presence for a college QB and when the game is on the line he always delivers. He is very talented as well.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) Manziel
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:32 PM) I didnt see any of his so I cant say. I usually only watch Pac 12 games
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:35 PM) My problem with Mariota is that he has accuracy issues. Look at the las time we picked a qb with Accuracy issues didnt work out that well
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:37 PM) And I wasn't really impressed with Sanchez looking much better this year. His accuracy is finally NFL average but once again like pretty much every year he has more turnovers than tds
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:38 PM) 12 passing tds 1 rushing td 10interceptions and 7 fumbles 4 of them lost so he has 13 tds and 14 turnovers total
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:39 PM) No chance of him taking Foles job
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:41 PM) though he might have a shot getting a job on a team that needs a td with his improved accuracy. He was better in the Redzone this year. best of his career. No tunovers in the redzone. The first time in his career
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:41 PM) meant needs a qb
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:43 PM) I wish we could keep harvin but he is definitely gone. No way the team is going to pay him what he wants with so many needs. Hope they pay Richardson though
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:46 PM) We need to upgrade almost the whole Oline and Mangold is getting old so we need to start looking for a center soon. he is still damn good at blocking but he never pulls like he used to on running plays
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:48 PM) Especially with him having to deal with that big bastard Wilfork twice a year.
santana Icon : (Today, 05:52 PM) Keenum played better than any jet qb this year

Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano wasn't the only one issuing bold statements at camp on Thursday. Third-year cornerbackVontae Davis declared he and secondary partner Sean Smith as the best duo in the NFL.

"I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're the best tandem in the league," Davis said.

When pushed by the questioner if he included Jets cornerbacksDarrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie, who have a combined 32 interceptions and four Pro Bowl berths to Davis' and Smith's five and none respectively, he wouldn't backpedal.

"You name them all and I'm putting it out there," Davis said.

Man do something about it Vontae.. go put up some numbers or something. STFU

Some of these Dolphin fans are insane. Here is a quote from this thread. http://www.finheaven...League%E2%80%9D

Quote

Revis may be a little better than Davis at this point, but...Davis and Smith together are > Revis and Cromartie....Cromartie being the weaker link

Sean Smith only started 8 games last year. He was benched at the beginning for JASON ALLEN. Nuff.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Revis + my left testicle are a better DB tandem than Smith and Davis.

I didn't know that. I thought he was injured. If this is true that is SAD!

The guys on NFLN had a good laugh at it as well.

It can't even be debated. Cro is a way better athlete then any one them for 1 and how is a 10pick Db a weaker link? I mean maybe compared to Revis he's a weak link but on almost all the other teams in the league he's a #1 DB.

Dolphin fans are such idiots. The vast majority don't have a clue.

Read at own risk.

First of all there aren't too many DB tandems.

Revis and Cro
Nnamdi and Samuel
Woodson/ Tramon Williams
Vontae Davis/ Smith
Mike Jenkins/ Terrance Neuman
Terrell Thomas / Amukamura (might be better then Vontae and Sean Smith?)

Anyone I missed?

My biggest question is who in the hell is Sean Smith? I mean really tho?

its nmadi and DRC. asante has been downgraded to nickel. its the best 1-2-3 combo but not as good of a 1-2 as revis/cro
woodson and williams are studs. probably 2nd or 3rd best depending on how you feel about DRC. vonte and shaun smith? thats a laugh same with newman and jenkins. newman is good but not great. jenkins is trash. TT for the giants sucks. he let up 76 catches for 1200 yards last year. bottom 10 in everything. people applaud his high tackle number but its only cause he plays so far off for fear of ebing beat that he lets up all these catches then makes the tackle. he is a good tackler though but coverage skills suck. alo giants LBers suck so the top tacklers are a DE and CB. what a joke. and can you count a rookie who broke his foot already as a great tandom? prince could be a huge bust for all we know.

I wouldn't be counting Terrell Thomas and Amukamura as a tandem yet, after all they won't be playing together this year. Frankly, Davis/Smith can battle against Bodden/McCourty this year for 2nd best tandem in the division. Both tandems can compete to be a Top 5 tandem in the league. There aren't a lot of really good tandems. Newman/Jenkins got beat a lot last year, but Rob Ryan will probably make that defense better. Just throwing the names out there because I like them both and want to see them perform well, Joe Haden and Sheldon Brown.

115, where did you see Samuel get demoted to nickel? He's started all 3 preseason games for the Iggles so far.

Guys, Smith is a bum. His only attribute is his height. He's lost his starting job last season and got it back thanks to an injury. Realistically speaking, Smith would probably lose the 4th CB spot on our roster to Lowery. Vontae Davis is solid. He'd be a real good nickel on our defense.

Ah, okay. I don't think they will demote him, but we'll see.

Jetsfan115 the giants lost 3 starters and you just trashed the whole defense there . so we should score 47 points in the 1st half ? :)
