RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 10:50 PM) Yes I went there. Geno spots these teams 7-10 points weekly and has turned the ball in the redzone 3 games in a row. If not for 2 dropped ints geno would have 4 picks. Dude sucks at best
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 PM) Then we got Chris ivory running like marshawn lynch out there and they sit him on the bench the whole fourth quarter
XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 PM) I'd like to use the same excuse I used for Sanchez. QB can't really do shit when your best WR would be a #3 if he was lucky on any other team

XvNukemHighvX Icon : (Yesterday, 10:54 PM) he only looks good because our O is so bad.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 10:54 PM) I bet a lot of teams have their eye on him
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:56 PM) Decker doesn't need to play until he is completely healthy
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:58 PM) FIRE IDZIK
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 11:08 PM) How big was the Sheldon Richardson fumble recovery not being a TD. We quickly went three and out after that

Last night, down a couple of scores in the 4th, you'd expect to be shitting bricks. I was nervous, but it was a good nervous. I wasn't panicked. I knew that if he had the time, Mark was going to drive the offense down the field. That's the big thing about him. His numbers won't wow you, but when the game is on the line, he's as good as anyone. I kept screaming "It's Tone Time" at the TV.

With time in the pocket he'll shed you. 88.1 passer rating, 336 with 2TD's and 1INT is pretty beast. I wonder how Matty Ice and Josh Freeman did? :hysterical:

Mark can throw a football folks. Give the kid some time to set his feet and he'll deliver the football.

He's not a complete QB yet. Giving the jets as a team. But Sanchez flop on a couple plays. That INT was horrible. Should never threw that pass. He needs to learn to throw the ball up to Plax not zip it in front of him. Plax is not going to out run most DBs. He's 6-5. Use the height. That block punt is what started the fire for the jets. Sanchez was average in my book that night. This was a team win

Sanchez in the 1st half was very average. 2nd half he balled out. 336, 2TDs 1INT 88.1 passer rating is a damn good game. Not bad for a 3rd year QB.

Had Schotty had his shit together Mark might have threw for 400+.

If you look on the pick, it initially looked like Lee was playing man, meaning Mark was expecting Lee to follow his man. Lee jammed Keller (I believe) then played in his zone. When I saw it, it was just a really good job by Lee. I knew exactly what Mark was thinking and why he threw it. He expected Lee to follow his man, he didn't, jammed and hovered in that same area (zone) and read Marks eyes. Just a really good defensive play. It was like Mark wasn't being reckless.

That's exactly the change we need. last year in 1st halfs he looked average too if not below average. We need complete games. Second half was pretty good from him. he does look more comfortable than last year.

Couple things that didnt' help him:
1. Our oline looked horrible. That can't help you settle down in the pocket and read defenses
2. Cowboys defense looked very confusing. Even watching from tv was difficult to tell who was coming on blitzes.
3. It's week 1. Still some kinks to work out

Plus, if Mark's pick was bad, Romo's was worse, which shows every good QB in this league is going to have the odd brain freeze. Mark was far better playing from behind than Ben Roethlisberger was yesterday, too. He just doesn't get flustered back there when having to mount a comeback, which - admittedly - he has had to do a lot given how poor the offense typically is in the first half!

1. Yes, our O-Line did look overwhelmed. We couldnt run it either.

2. I like Sanchezs poise. I think he looked better, and he didnt throw a pic earlier to a wide open Burress when he saw the linebacker drop right into the passing lane. Still want to see hime throw the ball away on his fumble.

3. Shotty is f***ing horrible....I hate to say it, he is gonna cost us some games this year....AGAIN....Sanchez threw for over 200 yards, but a good OC would have torched a injury ridden Dallas Defense.

What some of you are forgetting is that when Sanchez got better, he got better against the back up secondary for the boys. Scandrick was out. And so was the other CB when Plax laid him out. Those were not the starting CBs for the cowboys.

And last night he showed that with absolutely no run game and under constant pressure that he can make plays. Schitty came out with a pretty stupid game plan, I did not like him going spread and leaving Hunter 1 on 1 with Ware. Really I am not mad at Hunter, he did his best against a truly great pass rusher.

Jenkins kept coming back in. And 330+ yards is good no matter who you are facing, the Cowboys secondary was banged up but they were bringing a lot of pressure.

Problem is, Hunter didn't really only get abused by Ware. he got abused by different players on many plays. and not just in the passing game either. Thats a huge concern. Plus its not that he got beat by Ware and company, its how BADLY it looked. If he's going to be our starter, he has to get way better.

Sanchez didn't win this game period. We don't have a running game with Greene. LT coming in opened the offense. Greene might end up being a dissapointment. I hate to look ahead this early but whenever Chris Johnson becomes free and we Know the Titans are cheap, The jets should throw the checkbook at him like they tried to do with Nnamdi.

Back to sanchez. He was average. Special team won the game.

I didn't see that, I saw Ware was on him more often then not. Usually teams will double Ware, but the Jets like to play with 5 linemen which leads to some QB hits when they were doing a lot of blitzes and Ware was dominating.

Seriously!? I hate this crap, when was the last time you can remember a big name free agent RB being worth his new contract? Especially the RB position of all, which is so dependent on the system, offensive line, QB, and is so easily replaceable through the draft.

If Shonn Greene doesn't work out you draft another one...

Reg is telling the hard truth . however everyone saw what had gone on in that game so they will get busy this week for sure . I also think ground and pound is primary and the passing game is a compliment for now. guys we not getting down field on blocks many were standing around watch dallas make plays. that blocked punt was a thing of beauty.

hmmmm that's a tough one to call. Scandrick sucks so I really don't it had anything to do with him being in or out. I just really think we made some really good second half adjustments. Holmes nor Plax caught any balls in the first half really. The pass rush needed to be slowed down so dropping back to pass was difficult. We shored up the pass rush a little better in the second half. No time for Mark early in the game to make plays with Ware all in his ass.

We started to throw double teams at Ware the second half and it fared better for Mark because he started to really get comfortable.

Ware is the baddest pass rusher in the league. He's a freak. Thank God we don't have to play guys of his calibre every week. Hello Jacksonville!!

I thought he was a lot better then that. He was getting beat like a donkey out there. Spencer, Ware, Oprah it didn't matter. I'm definitely concerned.

Greene wasn't even given a chance to do anything last night Reg. He had a total of 10 rushing attempts with most of them coming at the DUMBEST of times. Look at the breakdown. Schitty barely called any run plays in the first half. No back is going to find success when you'r not even attempting to wear out the DL. Schitty got FAR away from the ground and pound that this team has been known for. There was no balance. If we could actually find a balance, it would be nice and I think Greene could produce. This team could be scary if there was a healthy balance.

Sanchez's numbers were average partially because of lousy play calling and the Defense knowing that we were passing before the ball was snapped.

in all fairness dallas front 7 is beast and their secondary was banged up and beatable. throwing 45 times and rushing 15 was the right balance against them

I agree that we should have passed more than rushed against a beat up secondary but 45-15 is just too lopsided. Greene never got the chance to get going so our run game went absolutely nowhere. What is missed in all of this is that our run D did a good job of not allowing 100 yards rushing against us again.
