I Am Being Serious....

So you rather have had a QB who led our team to 1-3 record instead of one who turned the season around and brought us to the Divisional playoff round? You rather have a QB that in 2002 had a 3 game stretch where he threw only one TD pass while the team got outscored by nearly 100 points against New England, Miami and Jacksonville instead of a QB who led the NFL in passer rating? YES! That makes perfect sense!

You are talking about 2002, this is 2005 buddy. What has Chad done lately that was good for us? Nothing, he is a dumb southern boy, who belongs in the Arena League or what ever.

I agree with you about 2005 but you said you didn't want him in 2002. You would rather have Testaverde. That's crazy.

I am saying that I have always been a fan of Vinny Testaverde. He and Parcells almost brought this team to the promise land. In my opinion we should bring Vinny back, and make him start IF neither Jay or Chad can go, because we do not want Brooks Bollinger to start for us.

Lets put it this way though. If Parcells didn't want Testaverde in Dallas this year, why should we bring him back here?

Because he doesn't know what good talent is anymore. What Parcells did was try to bring back the 1998 with Vinny, Richie, and Keyshawn, which obviously did not work. Vinny would work better with faster wide receivers in my opinion.

Fellas,
I'm as much disappointed as you guys, but I have to say that we all need to keep the faith. Our team will rebound. They've proven that before and I'm sure we will have a great season. We have to trust our coach to make the best decision out there. If he feels Chad can win us the game, then lets go with Chad. Remember, we play to win. Let's keep the faith.

Blah Blah Blah. The Jets will rebound. People have said the same about Chad Pennington on this site and guess what....IT HASN'T HAPPENED! I'm sick of hearing how the Chad will bounce back and the Jets will be a contender again. If they don't do it, your words mean absolutely shit.

I agree with you on this one, you people just need to stop "hoping" that we will come out on top, because I just do not seeing it happen, not with Chad as our starter, this guy made the dumbest move ever not doing his surgery earlier.

lol.... I know Chad is bad, but I would not go that far, and say that he is not a top 100 QB, because he has gotten us to the playoffs 3 of the 4 years that he has been here, so yes he is about a top 30 QB in my opinion. Maybe a top 20, but any higher forget about it.

No he hasn't he got us to the playoffs 2 years. Vinny got us there in 2001. Chad did it in 2002 and 2004. Although I think CuMar and the D got us there last year more than Chad did.

I am a Cb too, and if I were playing against Chad, I would love it, because Chad has no Zip on his passes, would be picking off everything thrown my way.

the D did get us there

Oh my God. It hasn't happened. Big *beep*ing deal.
Kinda funny how chad looked a hell of a lot better today than he did in either of the previous 2 games until he "strained" his shoulder. If anybody paid attention to how his passes looked today, they looked a lot better. Now he's pretty much screwed for the next couple weeks, but instead of anyone here saying how he at least had the guts to get back in there after Fiedler got hurt, everyone's calling for his head. (AS USUAL)
If anyone's to blame for this loss, its that *beep* Miller. Everyone knows that if the fu$%ing punt is going over your head, you get the hell out of the way, not try to catch it over your shoulder when you can't catch one hitting you in the numbers. Instead of blaming Chad, why don't people blame who's at fault for the loss? Maybe if Herm put in Bollinger we'd have 5 more INTs too because he constantly overthrows the receivers. Chad at least has the guts to man up & try to help the team win unlike Miller who isn't man enough to let the coaches know he can't catch a damn punt but that he wants to stay to return kickoffs.
To hell with it, let's bench Chad, Fiedler, & Bollinger and call old Tom Tupa to be our starter?
When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!
