Coming to HBO this month
Hope it restores some of the apparent lost faith in our old friend (and my hero!) Joe

New Namath Doc

No one maybe threw a pretty ball then Namath. As a passer the guy was simply amazing. I could watch Namath spin the football all day. Now there are things that have gotten in the way of Namath the player and Namath the person. From the Suzy Kolber incident, alchoholism and now him ranting away like some deranged Jets fan, being super-critical of the team and voicing them publicly I find just in very poor taste. Your not a fan Joe, your an Ex player, Hall of fame Quarterback. You know what it's like as a player and you should know that your not in the locker room you really don't know what your talking about and most of his points are about as relevant as ours.
I love Namath and he was one of the best passers of the football EVER but there are things that have gotten in the way where's Joe's concerned. I'm not just going to give him a pass because he's a legend. I wish he'd carry the same kind hush hush policies as has Curtis Martin. It would be easier to like him.
