A few weeks after Rex Ryan admitted that he didn’t have the pulse of the Jets’ locker room this season, All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis made it clear that there was plenty of discord that helped derail their playoff hopes according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
“After the season, we talked,” Revis told the NFL Network on Thursday after the AFC Pro Bowl practice in Hawaii. “Basically, he didn’t know a lot of things that were going on behind the scenes. It was just so much stuff. I’m really not going to get into it because some of the stuff is real deep. But he didn’t know a lot of the things. He wanted people to say things to him. But obviously it didn’t come out. It came out on the field (late in the season).”
Several players and members of the organization made critical remarks about Mark Sanchez and expressed their desire to acquire Peyton Manning if the circumstances were right in a Daily News report earlier this month.
Former Jets' offensive lineman Damien Woody later admitted that the organization “babies” Sanchez. LaDainian Tomlinson echoed that sentiment by maintaining the quarterback is “pampered” by the organization. Tomlinson also told Showtime's "Inside the NFL" that the disharmony in the locker room, including the divide between Sanchez and wide receiver Santonio Holmes, was the worst that he’d ever seen in his career.
“This past year was very frustrating for not just me, but for the team as a whole,” Revis said. “There was a lot of stuff going on… behind the scenes that I figured we would have (fixed) it (at the time). Then everything would have been cool and we could have moved on. Obviously we didn’t. The season kind of spiraled late during the season.”

I am hearin a lot of how phuked up the locker room was...not 1 person sayin they stepped up to try n bridge the gap, take a leadership role or be the mediator to get things movin in the RIGHT direction.
Well, the problem is that when the locker room seemed to first come apart it was when Holmes said his bit in the media and Ryan supported him while the locker room fractured. I think that is clearly a point where things started to turn for the worst.
Some players had a meeting, but it didn't stop Holmes because Ryan had already supported.

Exterminate all rational thought, that is the conclusion I have come to
