rex ryan started with a philosophy that aided the team to 2 afc championship bouts in which they could have won both but didn't.
with that said he did it with an OC. that wasn't his guy. that's fine unless the OC. just naturally is a moron. which is saying the least.
now he needs to storm on with m. sanchez, holmes, d. keller and add talent to fit his philosophy that is proven to work.
ground and pound, a strong suffucating defense and an occasional deep threat to back off the 8-9 man fronts.
he must hit in the draft in the later rounds, the "money rounds" and keep a stable environment of consistency in the locker room.
do not give up the bank only to be 8-8 or worst for choosing band aids. look at the raiders for example, constant changing of coaches, players, philsophies...
now look at NE, and PITT. 'nuff said.

no DOUBT! I now wonder...how many draft prospects are prayin they dont come to the Jets =(
i wouldn't get too bent out of shape about the state of the jets
8-8 first year with rex and sanchez and no one would be complaining in the locker room or media
year 3 two afc champ games later 8-8 the world is ending? get outa here. i blame the media for most of this nonsense
barely a year ago everyone in the media was clamoring about the jets. not to mention all the interest from players wanting to play for the jets.
some feel good articles during the off season and winning some games will resolve all of this.

Yup Rex needs and will be given all the opportunities to fix this situation. Which I think he will no problem.
