There is little doubt that the Jets helped shape professional football by winning Super Bowl III. However since the. We have had to endure the following teams win the big game:
Dolphins: 2 time champions
Patriots: 3 time champions
Giants: 4 time champions
Also, we have had to watch the following number of Conference championships come from hated rivals, or local annoyances:
Eagles: 2 times
Bills: 4 times
Giants: 5 times
Dolphins: 5 times
Patriots: 7 times
A total of 9 world champions, and 23 Conference Champions. All of this happening while I can't even see my team play in the big game. Reason for this post? None. Life just sucks.

We might as well be. I mean, at least they know they don't have a chance. The Jets do just enough go give you hope and make you think something is gonna happen, and then they yank the rug out from under you.

You bring up a good question. Would you rather have Detroits roster than our own? Stafford, Suh, and Megatron are better then Sanchez, Pouha/any other DT, and Holmes.
I think Detroit has a legitimate chance to consistently make the playoffs while it's usually hit-or-miss for us.

You get better talent when you finish in the bottom five of the league every year. I wouldn't rather have that roster cause it means we were a 4-12 team for 85% of our history.

Exterminate all rational thought, that is the conclusion I have come to

That's what the Saints had though. They were never good. But I guarantee you that when they won the Super Bowl 2 years ago, it was worth it to everyone down in New Orleans.

But they were also that rare team that acquires an elite QB through free agency. Arizona did it and still didn't win the SB. I'd trade some bad seasons for a SB, but not thirty 5-11 years.
