Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think

SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good

The St. Louis Rams have decided to trade the No. 2 pick, league sources said Monday.

According to sources, the Rams already have had trade discussions with the Cleveland Browns (No. 4), Washington Redskins (No. 6) and Miami Dolphins (No. 8), each of whom is scheduled to pick in the top eight in April's draft.

The Rams, who already have quarterback and 2010 top pick Sam Bradford, also have discussed a potential trade with teams outside the top 10, according to a source, but it will be challenging for one to surrender enough compensation to vault to the second overall pick.

The Rams are seeking a deal similar to what the San Diego Chargers got for the rights to 2004 top overall pick Eli Manning, sources said Monday.

Manning was selected by the Chargers with the No. 1 overall pick in 2004 and traded to the New York Giants for two first-round picks, a third-round pick and a fifth-round choice.

With those picks, the Chargers ended up adding quarterback Philip Rivers, linebacker Shawne Merriman and kicker Nate Kaeding, all of whom have made multiple Pro Bowls.

The team that trades up to No. 2 on April 26 will likely select either quarterback Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III.

St. Louis' second overall choice became the focal point after RG3's sterling effort at the combine in Indianapolis on Sunday cemented Griffin and Luck as the likely top two overall picks on April 26.

While neither Luck nor Griffin decided to throw at the Indianapolis event, Griffin was officially clocked at 4.41 in the 40-yard dash, while Luck came in at 4.67. Luck also put his versatility on display Sunday. His broad jump (10 feet, 4 inches) was two inches short of quarterback Cam Newton 's best in 2011, and Luck's vertical jump (36 inches) was better than Newton's (35). Griffin was better than Luck in the vertical jump (39 inches) but fell short in the broad jump (10 feet).

The Indianapolis Colts, who hold the No. 1 pick, have said they will draft a successor to quarterback Peyton Manning with the top pick.

Among the teams Griffin interviewed with in Indianapolis were Miami, Washington, Minnesota and Kansas City. He said all went well, including his talk with Indianapolis executives trying to decide what to do with Manning and that top pick.

What's the surprise?

Luck is a great athlete, not just a Stanford nerd.

It seems a bit early for the Rams to advertise what they want from another team in order to trade down from the #2 spot. The Chargers were extremely smart when taking Eli by holding out on a deal as long as possible in order to get more picks out of the Giants. There's still two months to go until the draft so if they've set out their demands now teams like the Browns, Dolphins, Chiefs etc are going to no doubt offer less and then meet somewhere in the middle.
I still think the Browns are the most likely to make a deal seeing as they have a second first round pick this year to throw into the deal.

The thing about the Chargers is that they actually had less leverage since Archie flat out told them that if they select Eli, he will sit out a year and reenter the draft. They drafted him anyway and flipped him to the Giants who picked #4 and who were Archie's preferred team.

Remember, you only have 15 minutes on the clock during draft day. By announcing that they intend to trade their pick 2 months early, the Rams are giving every team a chance to put together a package, then choose the best package, go back to the other biddgers for their highest and best, and then go back to the original team if someone bests them. THey're going to get a bonanza of picks/players because they're giving guys like Daniel Snyder and Stephen Ross ample time to salivate over game tape and make moves with this trade in mind.

makes sense for them. they need a RB, WRs, and Defense. they already have a QB and RG3 or luck will be available for a team in need. I could see them trading back a few times and piling up picks and landing blackmon and richardson getting 2 1st rounders out of it then focus on defense after that.
Get it done MT

...and after all that, they're going to turn the keys over to Schotty. :hysterical:
