Osmele could slot in at RT and be a solid starter but I think he has All-Pro guard written all over him.

Draftcountdown is very solid though, he does a nice job.

It's 2 rounds, not 'our draft'

Seriously though, Osemele do you like him at T or G more?

This team needs some serious depth...I think Mike T needs to pull a 2009 Browns draft move and trade down multiple times.

From everything I've read, he sounds like he could be an All Pro G someday. I'm the only on in the the "Ducasse will ultimately work out" camp so I'd stick him at G once Moore retires.

I definitely think that this draft is lopsided in the sense that there's tremendous value in pick 1-10, then it thins out again until 40-60. I definitely want the Jets to trade out of 16 UNLESS Ingram magically falls to us. He's Top 10 talent and I have a hard time seeing how he's going to get passed the Jags and the Bills but whatever. If he's not there at 16, no other player is really worth the grade. I hope we can find a trading partner (maybe a team that wants to take a QB as I see Tannehill and that Weeden both going in the 1st) get out of the 1st all together. If we can pick up an extra 2 2nds and a 3rd, we'll set this team up lovely for the next half decade.

Are you saying he doesn't play until Moore retires or he slots in at RT until then?

And I think Ducasse won't pan out either, but I do think he can be a starting guard at some point in this league.

That's a loaded question Matty Boy. We're going to have to have an open competition at RT. I think we will also sign a vet FA. I don't think you can fully evaluate 4 players by giving them equal reps. So FA vet, Ducasse and Hunter will fight it out for RT. I think Osemele is best served as a backup to Moore in that instance.

So we're using a second round pick on a backup Guard?

That's my problem with it.

That's assuming we sign a vet RT. What if we don't?

My question was to you about him... you have him projected to be our backup G, but we're picking him 2nd. That's all.

I don't mind that at all since OL is a definite need. I'm HOPING we can get the RT spot sorted out, but Moore is long in the tooth as well. If we draft a guy and he ends up sitting a year, that's fine. We saw what happens when you don't have enough OL this season, I'd rather have too much. He's probably going to be the BPA when its our turn on the clock... are we really not going to draft him because we still have Moore and aren't totally giving up on Ducasse and Hunter? It's a no brainer to me.

Oh I'm not saying we shouldn't draft him.

I think day one he can start at RT for us and be solid. Just think he could be an All-World OG as well.

Don't see that happening, for some reason I don't think he gets past the Patriots round 1.
