Now this guy is a real Jet. One of OUR guys. Feels good to have guys like these on the team for the forseeable future.

It's a bonus too that Pouha is a relatively fresh 33 year old as he came into the league late. He's an important, underrated part of our defence and it would have been a dumb move to let him hit the open market. If they can stay healthy and aviod the type of injuries Kris Jenkins had, defensive tackles can have quite a long shelf life - Pat Williams had three of his best years in his mid to late 30s with the Vikings, while Keith Traylor was still starting the majority of games at an older age than Pouha is.

I don't think any jet fan underrates him. he just doesn't get the media hype that a revis gets
