They ain't burners so I'm not worried. However what does Beli do? go get an amazing route runner. He keeps getting players that can have effect against the Jets. We play man to man. Beli goes out and gets a man to man WR. With T. Brady throwing him the ball he'll be a b*tch cover.

My question is... What have we done to take care of the Pats? Still no one to cover Gronk. Is Reggie Nelson going to cover Gronk? Can Landry cover the TE's. Do we even get Landry or Reggie.

Why is he taking 1 maybe 2 days to sign a deal? (Reggie). Is it because the Jets are running him throw a series of tests? I know Rex puts a great deal of importance into his center fielder. Like what could be the hold-up?

If we get both Landry and Nelson then we've done moves to counter act the Patriots.

Do you really need to ask? It's all about the $$$. If the Jets would've made Nelson an offer he couldn't refuse, he'd have signed. I'm not optimistic now that he left his visit without inking. He played well for Cincy last season and they want him back. There's also a 3rd team. We may not have done enough to get him.

Landry I fully expect to sign. His value is low. I mean LOW. He floated the fact that he's willing to sign a 1 year deal to prove he's healthy. That's not something you do when you're getting a ton of offers. He'll be signed shortly.

Back to Nelson... I'm not sure how much the Jets want him. He's a 1 year wonder. Did he find himself or will he regress back to the player the Jags cut? I think that Mike T is probably offering both an incentive laden deal with the hope of snagging both but with realization that we will probably sign one, bring back Leonhard and draft a FS.

I want to crawl into a hole. The Pats can go hurry up offense with this lineup and do ANYTHING they want. Welker, Lloyd, Branch, Gronkowski, and Hernandez.


Hernandez is an effective runner when called upon as well as a mismatch at TE, so they can still run the ball or go empty, then no one can cover a healthy Gronkowski and good luck shutting down the 3 wrs all at the same time. If you try to use all dbs, they can just hand it off to hernandez, and if you keep more lbs on the field instead your getting tourched by Brady and Co.
