Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) nope

Revis on possible holdout: "I just don't know. I'm not saying I'm going to hold out. I'm not saying I won't."

That is not what you want to hear from him... Hopefully hes not asking to be the highest paid defensive player, if its highest paid CB then he deserves that so lock him up.

why would he risk it? if he holds out his career is over. he'll have 3 cheap years added to his deal and get fined 30k a day. do the math

I'll care about it when the time comes. Jets have other worries currently.

When the time comes, of course he will strongly consider holding out. He held out as a rookie, held out for his second contract, and has Sean Gilbert in his ear.

But that time hasn't come.

From everything I am reading he isn't talking about 2 years from now he is talking about possibly doing it now/next season because he is only making like 6-7mil. If he does the years get added to his contract but that won't matter when the Jets resign him because they aren't going to let him miss a season. If he wasn't so damn good I would really hate him but he does deserve to be the highest paid CB in the league and he has proven that season after season.

Let him hold out. As I have said before, one man, I don't care how good he is, is not gonna break the team. He is signed for two more years. If he wants to hold out and be just like other prima-donas let him. In my opinoin, which doesn't amount to squat, he is breaking his contract. This ridiculousness on these contracts are souring the game for fans, at least for this one. I love him as a player, and think he is the best out there at the moment, but can't fathom paying the jack that he wants for one man when we have many holes that need to be filled on the team

I also stated that he really wants to play in a warm weather climate, mainly Florida and he also wants to be the highest paid player on DEFENSE, not just his position. Let him get that deal somewhere else.

this time i say fuck him. he made a deal with the jets that paid him 16 mil the 1st 2 seasons (more then aso) and 12 mil a year average (most for a CB) for 4 years. he is the highest paid CB right now how can he hold out for more. he's pulling a barry sanders and if he does hold out fuck him and let him rot. I'm sick of his shit. he made like 24 million last year

If he holds out again, let him hold out & don't pay him one red f#king cent. Let's see how long he holds out then when he's not getting a pay check & instead is getting fined week after week after week. He will become one of the most hated players in New York if he does it again and his market will be a lot smaller than he & Uncle Sean will believe. He'll still have teams that will want him, but not as many as before because every team will know that each & every time that he plays 2 years, he'll hold out for a new deal. f*** him. He's a worthless piece of $hit as far as I'm concerned just for even implying that he would even considering holding out again. Those remarks alone should earn a call from Rex & Tanny that give him a slap in the wallet for actions detrimental to the team.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!

he needs to be like victor cruz. the guy just had 1500 yards and won a SB and is only getting paid like 1.5 mil this season and he already said he won't hold out

I can't believe he we JUST went through this with this ass clown and he already is talking about a holdout? I love Revis. He's a once in a generation talent, but come the f*** on. :ranting3: :ranting: :banghead:
Fifteen years ago after an especially disappointing loss to Miami, Esiason, then the Jets' quarterback, was making the seven-mile drive from the Meadowlands back to Manhattan.
While he was slogging through stop-and-go traffic at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, the car next to him was violently rear-ended. The quarterback threw his car into park, hopped out and ran to the woman whose car had been hit. She was wearing, of all things, an Esiason jersey, and was utterly shocked when he tapped on her window to check on her.
"Are you OK?" he said, trying to keep calm. "Are you OK?"
"Boomer? Is that you?" she asked the Good Samaritan, sounding disoriented. "I think I'm OK, but . ... "
But what?
"But you guys sucked."
Welcome to the New York Jets, Tim Tebow.

Honestly though. This is nothing more then Revis firing the first shot at Mike T. Subliminally Revis says "Yo Mike, get your funds straight because when my time is ready I'm gonna look to rake in".

I think the minute that Revis got what he was after I think most logical Jets fan knew that another time would come where it could resurface.

Look at Harlem dropping the knowledge!

Good call, either way even if it does extend there still could be turmoil and I'm sure Mike did his best to cover his a*s in case this does happen again.

the contract gave both sides what they wanted and also stopped revis from being able to hold out. He'll lose alot of money by holding out. he got his 16 mil for the 1st 2 years (more then aso) and the jets got 12 mil a year over 4 (which is what they wanted) everyone won. also with aso signing his deal at 12 mil a year from philly no way revis can ask for 16 like he did before. 12.5 a year would make him the highest paid CB and i'd be good with that

What makes anyone think that will stop him from holding out?

Whether his contract is through 2013 or 2020, if he wants to hold out, he'll hold out until he gets what he wants.

If the jets don't budge his career will be over or he'll lose alot of money. its a huge risk for revis to take. this time jets will have the leverage. last time he coulda held out 10 games played 6 and been a free agent. now if he holds out under the new CBA its like 30k fine each day plus his contract extends 3 years at like 6 mil a year
