Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

Where did you hear that? Because apparently the Jets had a team to deal with to trade back if a guy they didn't like didn't fall to them, but they ended up being in a spot where there was guys they liked that fell.

I heard we fielded offers (which is why we used all 15 minutes) but didn't like any of them enough to pass on coples

considering they only have 10 minutes to make a pick in the 1st round, the Jets couldnt have used 15 minutes.

You should IMMEDIATELY apply for a scouting job because you sound like those old school guys. Height has nothing to do with it! he isn't a midget. Our system needs pass rushers, doesn't matter what height. Dwight Freeney dropped cus he was 6'1" and he is one of the best pass rushers of his time! Stop using lame excuses.

P.S. Coples gets a D for Dewayne Robertson . . . see what I did there? No mention of the other guy that he is. :hysterical:

name one 3-4 OLB thats 6-1 and good in the entire NFL. come on. i'm only asking for 1. freeny is a 4-3 DE and ingram could play that just fine. I think he's a bigger risk moving to a 3-4 (same thing gholsotn couldn't) then what coples is. tweener players odn't work for us. gholston was a tweener so is ingram

I take the scouting comment back, ud fail the interview. RGIII and Trent Richardson isn't even a hard decision. If the Jets were sitting and had to decide which one and couldn't trade out, as rediculously unlikely scenario as this is, you take RGIII immediately. And I am not saying this cus I hate Sanchez but because RGIII's value is so rediculously greater than Richardson's that you should be exiled from the country if you didn't pull the trigger on RGIII.

RGIII is a high valued qb. Even if you decide not to start him on your own team, his trade value is out of this world (see what the redskins payed for him). That is why you draft the best player available, because even if you cant use him, you can still get better value for him from someone else. Sure you get the no. 1 rb in the draft with Richardson(according to most pre-draft rankings, not necessarily my own thoughts). But that is nowhere close to the value of RGIII to make it worth considering taking Richardson over him.

you forgot about luck. his value is higher then RG3 right? i was just using the names of the top 3 players taken yesterday and saying if they all fell to 16 what would we do?

But there's another side to Coples, who appeared to be in cruise control as a senior. Stunningly, he all but announced that to his teammates before the season, according to a scout from another NFL team.

"After all the suspensions and all the problems, he shut it down," the scout said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "He got up in front of the team and basically said, 'I'm not playing for the team, I'm playing for myself, I ain't getting hurt for nobody.'"
