Jetsfan0099 Icon : (14 February 2015 - 05:19 PM) I think they should keep Babin, he was actually our best pass rusher last season despite 2 sacks. He had a lot of QB pressures in limited snaps.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (14 February 2015 - 05:20 PM) There are some good edge rushers available in FA, I hope we sign one

ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 February 2015 - 11:23 PM) Babin being brought back isn't a big deal but Pace really?
azjetfan Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:43 AM) There is no guarantee either will be on the roster opening day. This gives the Jets the most options in FA and the draft. For once I would love to see Jet fans not jump before the need
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:39 PM) I'd cut Pace, we easily can upgrade over him in FA
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:40 PM) Babin I'd keep , he had more QB pressures in way less snaps than Pace. And is cheap.

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 February 2015 - 12:28 PM) Reports say Jets to go hard after CJ Spiller. Bring him aboard, he'll be a good signing. Was a stud in Chan's offense and RBs don't cost much
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:09 PM) Saw that the Bills are meeting with Spiller and may sign him before FA.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:10 PM) if that happens, I think the Jets should go after Shane Vereen. Nice pass catching option out of the backfield, only 25.
Smedsthejet Icon : (20 February 2015 - 04:06 PM) Think Vereen would be a great option...I thought he was one of their best and most valuable performers during the playoffs and we need a back who can contribute in the passing game as well. Jets have been missing that piece since LT retired

The Philadelphia Eagles announced they have signed All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy to a five-year deal that will keep him with the Eagles through the 2017 season.

McCoy's deal is worth $45 million with $20.765 million in guarantees, a club source told Albert Breer of NFL Network.

Originally a second-round draft choice of the Eagles in 2009, McCoy has played in 46 games (32 starts) and accumulated 4,241 scrimmage yards (3,026 rushing; 1,215 receiving) and 33 total touchdowns (28 rushing; five receiving). He also owns the highest rushing average (4.8) ever by an Eagles running back, and has compiled more rushing and scrimmage yards in his first three seasons than any player in franchise history.

The Patriots are smart. They make guys look good thne let them walk and get overpaid somewhere they eventually get benched at while the Pats get a comp pick.

Philly needs to get on it with these guys like McCoy and Jackson.

I'm pretty sure they are not stud players. McCoy? Maybe. Jackson, definitely not.

Jackson is a one trick pony most teams would have little interest in because of his attitude and, not to say he is injury prone, the fact he is a huge pussy.

McCoy top five? Let's see, I might agree to top ten...

no particular order...
Peterson
Johnson
Jones-Drew
Rice
Turner

The first three are clearly the best backs in the league right now. I think Rice and Turner are the leaders of the next tier that includes maybe McCoy and Gore and McFadden. I think Fred Jackson deserves to be in there. And Foster of course. McCoy is probably somewhere in the 8-12 range for me.

I still think Steven Jackson being on non-the-Rams would be considered the best back in the league for the past five six years. It's a shame to see so much talent wasted on such a garbage team.

Also, how the hell did I not win the fantasy league when I had three backs in the top ten in rushing? Oh yeah, Jackson got hurt. f*** it.

I'd take Mccoy over turner easily and over rice. There are alot of good Rbs out there but mccoy is a beast. Watch him play. h has the rare sanders like ability to turn a -5 yard play to a 60 yard TD. not alot of backs can do that.

No offense here, as your definitely entitled to your own opinion, but the guy had over 1,600 total yards last season along with 20 TD's and he's in the 8-12 range for you? Good lord, I'd love to see the comprehensive list of those ahead of him in your eyes.
"I thought he was good?!? If he prays when he scores. Everyone knew him for praying. That only can mean he scores :)"

Quote from my wife when I told her I liked Tebow, but that he sucks as a QB

In A1's defense, he just gave you the list ahead of him in his eyes.

McCoy is a stud, the cuts he made last season were awesome. Hes a weapon in the passing game as well. They paid a ascending talent, hes only 23 so its a good deal. The reason the Eagles won't win the SB is because of their QB, hes not a SB winning QB IMO. He will be worn down by the playoffs, if they make the playoffs.

Turner I'd put him in line with, sort of, but I think Rice is way better. Rice does everything McCoy does but better.

@jumbledletterusername:

what 05 said.

Also, this isn't 1992. A lot of guys go for more than 1600 yards in a season. Rice had over 2000 last year and 1700 two years ago. Turner had 1600 this season. Foster the last two has over 4000 combined. Lots of guys have lots of good numbers,
