They could never put shows like All In The Family and The Jeffersons on TV today. Sherman Hemsley was one of my favorites especially when he would appear on the Fresh Prince.

This man lived a full life. I hear he had a hard time finding out who he was as he often acted like he did on camera off of it. Never married, no kids. Lived a very selfish life from how it seems. Ultimately those are his decisions so I respect that. This guy paved the way for black comedies, black TV shows, and black aspiring actors.

R.I.P Sherm, sleep well.
