The guy played hurt the majority of his career. Not speck of bi*tchassness in this guy. Never complained, great with media and fans, dynamic back. Just an awesome player and an even better man.

All everyone has said about this man is either A. Most humble guy, or B. Nicest man ever. That says something. It seemed like everyone loved this man. I mean the stats are awesome, but if everyone in the NFL or in the HOF has respect for a man this amazing, that says a lot. And on a personal stat note, He is still the oldest running back to win the rushing title. CURTS IS THE MAN!!

Just finished watching his speech - brutally honest, yet extremely inspiring. Football was the means through which Curtis Martin learned the most important lessons in life, and it's therefore fitting that he was rewarded with the highest honour a player can earn for his play. A great running back, an even better person and an amazing Jet.
