Looked A LOT like a Schottenheimer offense. Sure hope this isn't what we see come week 1 cause of that is the case, maybe we were blaming the wrong person all along. But I'll wait a bit to really speculate on that.

Totally agree. Vanilla looks better than what we did today. We deserved to get our punt blocked for a td for running 3 straight plays with 3 timeouts and over a minute to play in the half, IN A PRESEASON GAME! Test your offense, see what players can do in that scenario so when it counts you know what you're dealing with. The first run to get some room im fine with, but when your not on your own 1 and you have time and timeouts at least try a slant or rollout, something! i dont care if your going to run out the clock in the regular season in that scenario, its easy to run dive plays for 1 yard. dont need much game experience for that one. but trying to see if you can get some yards to see if u can make a drive of it with time running out in a half is a valuable game scenario to practice. the whole game just same old stuff i've watched for idk how many years. diff oc's diff qbs, diff hc's same boring, uninspired, and COWARDLY offense.Can't even show some guts in the preseason when the final score doesnt count.

it was upsetting to see the same conservative dump offs and dink n dunk b.s. I was watching and thinking damn can we throw it deep with our 1's atleast once? if we come out n look the same vs the giants , we may be in trouble. We couldn't protect mark or run the ball. I know it was the first preseason game but other teams are lighting the scoreboard up. We got 2 field goals

Pretty much, like a vanilla custard left out for week kinda flavor.
