ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013

SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Today, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.

I already made a topic ob Brick and I'm not really trying to beat him while he is down but I came across this on the MSN home page last night. This isn't good for Brick because his name is out there in the major news media now so more and more are noticing him not playing well. Im guessing his days are numbered as a starter or a Jet if he doesn't step up.

And just for the record I think the statement in the thread about Brick struggling last year because of foot problems is a total excuse and utter bullsh*t. If he had a foot problem last year why is he still struggling this year??? Is his other foot now hurting this year????? If he was struggling that bad in the preseason he will probably look really bad when he has to play 4 quarters and defenses are coming at him 100%.

NFL's most overrated players in 2012

D’Brickashaw Ferguson, T, Jets

With all the attention given to the Jets' right tackle position this summer, it’s easy to overlook the fact Ferguson was mediocre at best in 2011. A top-five selection in 2006, Ferguson had a few strong seasons, anchoring the blind side of the Jets' offensive line, but he wasn’t very good last year and he has looked bad this preseason. The Jets’ offense has a lot bigger problems than Ferguson, but let’s not act like the guy’s an All-Pro left tackle. He’s not even close.

I guess it could be size but I think it really has more to do with leg strength than anything. Anyone who has been serious into weight lifting at one point knows the core of your body strength is in your legs. You could have the biggest or strongest upper body in history but if your legs are weak you will suck at basically any sport.
Look at Ducasse.... He gets pushed back really easily and he is pretty big. I'm pretty sure its all about leg strength. Basically it could be that they need to hit the weight room a lot more or their endurance is just crap. Either one could be the problem. You could be strong as hell but if you have low endurance you tire pretty fast.

That is why I kind of think it is laziness. As we all know the bigger a person is fat wise the less stamina they have and its harder for most of them to maintain a will power for the extra work ethic on their own so they usually need to be pushed by someone else.
