santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 03:19 PM) holy shit thrilling match up tonight
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:13 PM) Does it matter who wins tonight? Draft pick wise for the Jets?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:16 PM) Probably not. We probably want to draft above the Titans though if that is possible, they are a team that could use a QB. The Jaguars just drafted Blake Bortles, doubt they go first round QB 2 years in a row
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 04:29 PM) so titans win is best win
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 05:52 PM) DRAFT WINSTON
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 05:52 PM) FIRE IDZIK
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 07:05 PM) I'm leaning towards wanting to draft Cooper or oline with the first pick. have a good line and or relceiver core and try and sign Bradford or trade for Cutler to play QB. And have Geno as back up for us.
2JBallar01 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 07:06 PM) Not sure if Winston can be a franchise QB. Even Mariota has question marks.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (18 December 2014 - 08:25 PM) That is why we need to draft Cooper at WR and then later in the draft go and get Petty
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 09:44 PM) clipboard jesus lead the way
santana Icon : (18 December 2014 - 09:48 PM) I miss leon
ROBJETS Icon : (18 December 2014 - 11:35 PM) If the Jets would have lost last week since the Jags won the Jets would have the 2 seed right now and not stuck at the 6 seed
ROBJETS Icon : (18 December 2014 - 11:36 PM) Oh well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:21 AM) I think IK shows potential as a pass rusher
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 12:50 PM) If the new HC goes to a 4-3 it will be interesting to see if Couples can play on the end.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:43 PM) he's probably better as a 4-3 DE then a 3-4 LBer anyway
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:43 PM) we'd need another DT though
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:12 PM) Rex to atlanta rumors swirling about
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:35 PM) Who should be my 2 starters at WR for my fantasy. Championship game. It's between AJ Green, Djax, and Mike Evans. I have Hilton too but I think colts will sit him this week
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:36 PM) I'm thinking Djax and Evans. I don't think the match up with green vs Denver
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:37 PM) I have Ingram, Lamar Miller, and Lacy as my RBs and flex
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) green and desean pretty much the same risk reward
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) lock evans in and play the matchup for the other spot
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) also might snow in denver mnf i would keep an eye on that
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:48 PM) Good thinkin! I think I'm going to play djax. I like the match up better

By watching today's game, I failed to see the validity in the author's points. Care to clarify them for us Camenzind? Spiller put up big numbers in the second half once Rex decided to let up for some unknown reason. He always does that when we're up double digits though. Especially when it's 41-14.

So how about you enlighten us like you were asked to do rather than just calling people moron or do you not have the intellectual capabilities to do so? Oh. That's right. We won today so we won't see you. Dickhead.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

I'd be happy to ya big dummy. First of all gentlemen, let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet. It was the Bills. I have never been afraid of Fitzpatrick. Our secondary, when it mattered, played very well. Yet I did notice a few things. Not much of a push up front from our defensive line. I didn't see much of a pass rush. Even Maybin didn't do much from the edge. I will watch the game again to reassess. Just as Ray Lucas pointed out in the post game, "Great defenses step on the neck of other teams and break them when a team is up big."

Bart Scott was horrible yesterday. The first Spiller ridiculous video game run was partially his fault and he recognized that on the sideline. Sloppiness and laziness. The Jets D got lazy when they were up 41-14. They were flat footed and slow. After watching that game, are you any less concerned about covering Brady's tight ends when New England comes to town?

I am very happy about the win and very pleased with Sanchez, the offensive line and Steven Hill. Santonio Holmes acted like a little baby in the locker room with reporters. He makes me sick. Nonetheless, this article, and your childish attempt to provoke me, was about the defense. And unless you watched the game through rose colored lenses, you'll recognize that my concerns are valid. Talk to me after the Pittsburgh game. I do hope I am very wrong.

You used this analogy once already. It was considerably awkward then, and it's considerably awkward now.

It is not an analogy. It is called an expression and one I will continue to use if so inclined. Focus on the points I evinced rather than misnomerizing my sentences. How's that for "considerably awkward."

Ok, first of all, I don't worry too much about things that need to be fixed or tweaked concerning the defense. I saw some mistakes by Landry and Bell in their run support (their new to the scheme they'll get better) Seen some overpersuing from the safeties and I saw them not really maintain their gap integrity. Jimmy and Smitty have experience in the system and fit their respected gaps, you can see the learning curve.

Also, Pouha didn't play. We have a rookie in Quinton Coples and a 2nd year guy really getting his 1st real crack with the starters. So thankfully it's week 1, the Jets will correct their issues defending the run (a staple of a Rex Ryan defense) and this defense will only get better.

Same can be said for an offense that has new parts and a new O.C. Whats scary is we should be better in both phazes towards the end of the year when it matters.

I actually don't focus on anything you post, nor does the vast majority of the board. Yay I'm glad you know big words though.

"Big" is a subjective term. I understand any word with more than two syllables might cause you some difficulties so I will work on that.

You don't focus on what I write because your maturity level rivals that of a 12-year old. You want to read only what you simply want to believe. The truth might get in the way.

I think the D played fine the first half other than a single run from Spiller. The second half showed the typical Rex Ryan approach of not wanting to literally embarrass the other team for some strange reason. You may want to watch the game again Camenzind and see that there were hardly any blitz packages being sent in the second half. I agree that it would have been nice to see them stay hungry for a full 60 minutes, but to post some garbage like you did and then knock REAL Jets fans for calling you out on your typical practice of always looking for something NEGATIVE to say about the team? No wonder everyone here thinks you're an asshole and a closet Patriot fan.

HOLY SHIT you're such a douche bag. Overcompensating much? One of the best pieces of advice you can give anyone is to keep things simple; the shortest and simplest way of saying something is almost always the best.

Plus, I'm pretty sure misnomerizing isn't a word...genius.

You're correct. It's not a word. Then again I could just be misnomerizing myself.

The article does point out some issues that will either have been as a result of a lopsided score or a problem. I was at the game and was a bit surprised that Spiller ran all over us. I was also surprised that we couldn't really pressure Fitzpatrick when it was obvious he had to throw. And I didn't see our offensive line opening big holes for our running game.

Having said that, I was blown away by Sanchez, Hill, Kerley and our defensive backs. So I would say if Parcells was our coach he would feast on the things we didn't do well in order to keep the team focused. But we have every reason to be ecstatic with the way the game went - especially as we really didn't blitz or give too much away.

I would venture a guess that 98% of Jet fans feel a lot better about the team now then they did last week at this time.

So trying to take everyone's enthusiasm away and then calling them morons for not wanting to focus on the negative is a sure way to deflect whatever point you were trying to make in favor of a release of your obvious frustrations.

PSS - The title really displays an inappropriate use of the word dissent.

Dissent is, by definition, to differ in sentiment or opinion, especially from the majority.

The majority here would be that the Jets defense is going to be a great unit, yet you are "dissenting" from the guy who is saying the Jets defense will not be great...which is certainly not the majority.

Look, I just helped out with your SAT's kid!
