Usually week 1 is full of upsets but the only real upset i see so far is washington over NO. anyone else find this all a little weird?

True, but if you were a Detroit or Philadelphia fan you'd be a little concerned that your team left it so late to score the winning touchdown against the Browns and Rams respectively. And both teams' QBs performed pretty poorly (4 INTs for Vick, 3 for Stafford).

Tampa seems to be going pretty well against Carolina, which could classify as something of a surprise. Then again, the Bucs are at home. Plenty of time for the Panthers to pull it back too.

So far the big surprise is honestly us putting up 48 on the scoreboard. That is going to raise questions. Did we hold back in the preseason like Dubbed said or is Buffalo really that bad? Time will tell but I like the start so far.

I love it when a GAME PLAN comes together. Yeah it's only one win so far but it's one of 16. I remember last year's week one game versus Dallas and how if you look back at that game it did give us some signs of things to come as that season went on. Today the Jets seemed to be firing on all cylinders on offense, defense, and special teams. We won week one last year but it took a late comeback and I didn't feel the confidence about the season I do right now about this one. But I'm not a big fan of the amount of wildcat we saw today. Two to four times a game is enough. I think it should only be used when the offense is sputtering in a game. But it seemed like they went to the wildcat so much today just to do it. I worry it will end up messing up the rhythem of the offense after a while.

But I'm happy to see the offense score TOUCHDOWNS in the first half and hopefully now that that monkey is off their backs they can be more relaxed the rest of this season. They know they can score touchdowns, even if they couldn't score one in those all important preseason games. What a difference a week makes.

There were 3-4 games that a team won but they only did it at the end (Philly and Det) against teams they should have beat more easily.

True but at the end of the day, a win is a win.
The only team that nobody would have picked to win their opener that won is washington.
