the jets D got destroyed on the ground. Spiller was going ape shit today. Also, there is no excuse for the bills to have put up 28 points against the jets D. The 48 points the jets put up were nice but its not like we beat a world beater today. The jets beat a team that just isn't very good regardless of what the writers over at espn say.

I was feeling really good about todays game until the bills put up 21 points on 3 consecutive drives. It was a good win but in my opinion...the bills putting up 28 points is quite embarrassing. Rex better be on the defenses ass this week in practice. The jets wont be playing fitzpatrick every week....

The Jets were up 41-7, then gave up 3 garbage TDs. One was a TD pass to Chandler covered by Isiah Trufant our 5th CB who sucks. Jones had one covered by Lankster, then the other was Johnson when Revis was out and they had some kind of soft zone.

Spiller had that one TD run because of poor tackling. I wouldn't worry about it though, Spiller is faster than most RBs, he runs a 4.27. They will get things fixed up there and I'm not going to worry over the defense giving up some garbage time TDs in week 1.

The Bills have talent, their DL is good. Mario Williams, Marcell Dareus, and Kyle Williams aren't jokes. They have a good safety tandem as well, their LBs aren't awful. Their offense has a good system, CJ Spiller is going to have a breakout season and showed signs of it at the end of last season, Fitzpatrick is mediocre, but they aren't a terrible team and will play better.

The bills have a talented team but the jets D matches up perfectly against the bills offense. Prevent defense, up big in the 2nd half...yadda yadda. The bills are a division rival, rex and co. should have put them out of their misery. Instead the bills left the field thinking that if they played the way they did in the 2nd half in the first half they could have won. They got within 13 points at one point with about 7 mins left if my memory serves correct. The Jets should have ended the game with the bills feeling they had no right playing on the same field.

So you're saying you'd rather risk injuring your starters in a game you already have in hand just so the Bills would leave thinking they had no right to play on the same field as the Jets? Now let's stop and think about that for a second.

The Bills would not have even been in a position to be 13 points down with 7 minutes left if the Jets hadn't subbed out some of the starters and took their foot off the gas peddle. I'd much rather have healthy starters going into Pittsburgh than a 41-14 win. What difference does it make if it was 41-14 or 48-28? It's not like the Jets get an extra W in the standings for winning the game by 27 points instead of 20 points. I really doubt the Bills left the field thinking they just ran out of time. They know just like everybody else the Jets let up and were just looking to eat up the clock in the 4th quarter.

We were luckly Revis wasn't injured like he could've been. And it's not like guys like Landry aren't proned to getting injured either. I remember thinking to myself midway in the 4th quarter "why are Sanchez and Greene still in the game?" I would have given Tebow and the second string most of the 4th quarter and rested the starters for the rest of the game. They get paychecks too.
