I know it's only one game, but they earned some big-time props yesterday.

Hell of a performance by Sanchez against a team that people were touting as most improved, dark horse in AFC, blah blah blah. All I'm heading today is "It's the Bills. It doesn't mean anything." I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways.

And though the timing of some of his wildcat plays was questionable at best, Sporano called a well balanced game and reminded everyone what a dipshit Brian Schottenheimer was.

For what it's worth, many of the so-called experts say a QB makes his biggest leaps between years 1 & 2 and years 3 & 4.

Haters be damned... including those on this board.
"My first thought was I looked and I saw who was second and [thought], 'Hey, I finally beat Belichick at something. I got him. I knew it would take time, but I finally got him.'"
--Rex Ryan on being voted the most overrated NFL head coach

Impressed that we took advantage of the four turnovers we got too. Too often under Schottenheimer we'd get the ball back with good field position but fail to capitalise. Yesterday we got 17 points from the three first half turnovers with drives of 61, 52 and 32 yards (the last one coming after we got the ball back with 1:30 to go until the half), then Cromartie took an interception to the house.

If we are going to win games with the defence as the team's strong point, then the offense is going to have to continue to take advantage of the other unit's takeaways.

TDs instead of FGs was a huge difference. Also Hill is a monster , didn't somebody already point that out months ago when others were hating???? :trink39:

I was saying to a friend of mine that Sparano's dolphins were competitive and they had Henne starting (where is he now? backing up Blaine Gabbert). Against the Jets the dolphins always schemed well and executed pretty well. I really think Sparano is a good game day preparer and as opposed to Schotty Sparano is a hard nosed kind of coach and something Sanchez needs.

It could be a good thing and we seen (although no T.D's in preseason) but no denying how accruate Sanchez was in the preseason and Comp % was pretty damn good.

If the OL can hold up Mark might have a really good year if he can continue to play like this.

The funny thing is that Sparano never called the plays for the Fins. He last called plays in Dallas.

He's an offensive coach. I know Dan Henning was the O.C but both him and Dan Henning install offense and strat togther. Much like Rex and Pettine do here.

Sparanos Phins always played hard. This offense needs that toughness.
