A lot went wrong but I lay this loss at the feet of the WR's for not making the catches when they needed it after that 1st 90 yard TD drive...and not being able to get off the field on 3rd downs on D....Move On, Learn Lessons, Fix Problems, Focus On Next Game

Well YOU BETTER BLEED GREEN & WHITE!!!!

But then again.....don't you live in an entirely different country but yet think you can tell us how to live? Go fvck yourself little boy. You're likely still living with mommy & daddy. Pu$$y.

our wr's are body catchers and when you have a couple guys like that, they dont stay consistant. last week was the up part and now we are witnessing what happens when you really way too heavily on your body to catch the ball. I made a joke about Hill having the "best chest in the NFL" and when he had to make a play away from his body with his hands, he let the db own him. Holmes needed to catch the ball away from his body but let it come in and either straight dropped it or allowed the db to have too much influence on the play, so he dropped it off his shoulder pads. then kerley would have gotten a pass if he didnt take a punt return off his face. smh

Sanchez didn't look bad, he had some bad throws but most of it was drop passes (mainly Holmes catch the f***ing balL!)or guys not looking back for the ball, or guys getting held by the Steelers DBs and the refs not calling it.
We looked good at first, but made mistakes and let the Steelers gather momentum and they just dominated the 2nd half with that momentum. Tough place to win, move on to the Dolphins and hopefully get to 2-1.

We were well beaten in the end, but I don't think it was an exceptionally poor performance. There weren't really any true studs, just as there were no shockingly poor individual performances.
Instead, the Steelers were just extremely good. Roethlisberger was superb and helped dictate four looong scoring drives, and their defence made the necessary adjustments after we had two scoring drives early on. The best part of our overall play was the run defence, but Pittsburgh were able to control the clock as the Jets, unsurprisingly, tired, while against the pass it was always going to be a struggle and the team didn't help themselves by not being able to sack Roethlisberger, who appeared to be Teflon-coated.
Having to play from behind the second half led to mental errors, whether they be drops on offense, Kerely spilling a punt or negative rushing plays. We were also hurt by dumb penalties - Landry got called for two avoidable personal fouls on eventual TD drives and Greene had a holding penalty that negated a fresh set of downs on a crucial third down play in the second half.
If it wasn't for injuries to Revis, Keller (who Sanchez missed on third downs) and Greene missing a sizeable chunk of the game (he didn't return the same player), perhaps the outcome would have been different. Saying that, had the Steelers had Polamalu and Harrison healthy then they too would have been more formidable defensively.
It's not a loss that will define our season I don't think. We've got a great chance to bounce back in Miami next week, hopefully with key players returning. There are certainly areas that need improving, but the same is now the case for New England. And no team in the conference has really put two solid, noteworthy performances in during the opening two weeks.

Duds:
sean greene (for always getting hurt whenever he's the starter)
landry
jets pass defense
jets tackling
studs:
oline pass protection
run defense
mehs?:
Sanchez (played decent but couldnt' get in a rythm; partly not his fault)
holmes (dropped passes but also caught td and drew penalties for first downs)
I feel like we didn't play horrible. Jets need to work on tackling drills alot. I like the way Sanchez played. he was off on a few throws but i liked the decisions. if a few passes were caught it could have been a totally different game. Offense just couldnt' get in a rhythm.
