Needs to play more. We have him playing OLB, but he has marginal speed and is 270lbs. I think he's the logical choice to replace Bart Scott next year. Thoughts?

A DE in college, playing DE/OLB now, logical replacement for Bart Scott at ILB as we want more big slow LBs.
I know you're being sarcastic, but his speed (or lack there of) is exactly why I think he's better suited for ILB than OLB. An OLB needs to be faster. An ILB, doesn't need to be as fast, just have quickness (which McIntyre looks to have).

Other than getting completely faked out on one play by Roethlisberger (which strangely resulted in a sack anyway), McIntyre did well yesterday. I'm not sure he's the answer as a full time starter either at OLB or ILB, but there wasn't much drop off from having Bryan Thomas in there.
