Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

There is some chatter amongst fans that they wouldn't mind seeing Pete Carrol take Sanchez back in a leap on faith for Matt Flynn. (purely speculation) Sanchez has 1 year left and Flynn has 2. Maybe something might get done. I mean at what point do we say. O.k we've seen enough of Mark.

No... If we get another QB I want a guy with a strong arm, Flynn has a weaker arm than Sanchez.

Matt Flynn? No. He could not beat out a rookie. He was only productive in GB because of the talent around him.

We need a better RB like Thomas Jones style. Shonn Greene is a great #2 and closer. Our D just needs to figure out how to get to the QB faster. Look at the Giants last year they had no names in the secondary but with their pass rush being so good they were never exposed

Well I mean why stop there? Let's just push Sanchez off the top of the Empire State building to get rid of him. I mean if he's garbage like these fickle fans think he is, no other team is going to want him. If he's garbage then just dispose of him.

My biggest problem with Sanchez this season so far is the overthrows, hes missed some TDs because of it. The INTs vs the Dolphins werent' really his fault, he has inexperienced targets that run bad routes and make a lot of mistakes. At first I thought that 2nd INT was Sanchez, but then as they showed the replay it was a bad route by Cumberland. If Cumberland didn't take his route so deep, that CB wouldn't have been there and the play design would have worked as the ball would have been there for Hill to make a play. We really need Keller to come back. And idk why they are playing Gates, he was released from the Dolphins due to running horrible routes.

We can't even run a ground and pound offense, because our starting RB is possibly the worst starting RB in the NFL. Hes awful and the Jets better not re-sign him.

His accuracy has been an issue this year more than past years. Maybe because the WRs are getting open so we are realizing it more? But this is nothing new. It seems he he never settles down in the pocket. He is always so jumpy. even though he has had good protection this year. I would like to upgrade the QB position as well but as Bill Parcells once said "they don't grow on trees"

Protection was pretty poor against Miami, while our receivers have been dropping numerous balls. Sanchez' completion percentage the past two weeks has been poor, but his overall play so far doesn't merit talk about moving him on.

Agreed, hes been under pressure the last 2 games. Lamar Woodley was getting constant pressure lining up vs Howard and the same thing with Cameron Wake. Howard has been getting beat by the speed rush, but at least he hasn't been a human turnstile like Hunter. Sanchez has been doing a good job at avoiding the rush so far, he was only sacked once vs the Dolphins, despite getting hit a bunch of times and under pressure on most of the drop backs.

It would help if we could run the ball better, but Greene has been awful so far. The Jets really should give Powell some more carries and see what he can do.

I am not saying we need to move on. I have been a Sanchez supporter. All QBs have pressure. Its football. My issue with him is he seems to be jumpy, like he is scared to get hit or he is anticipating the hit. This causes him to rush throws and he is less accurate than he should be. Wrs have been dropping balls but he has been throwing alot of passes behind people, over people etc... Just not accurate, making it harder on the WR. Mainly on crossing routes. When I rewatch the game (DVR) it is pretty clear he is having issues. Its not all on him but he has done his part. Also as far as the upgrading comment.... I feel that way about every position not just QB.

i think sanchez has been much better. Bigger problem has been the drops by santonio and company. Game planning is also bad, how do we not blitz the hell out of tannehill?

The Jets have been like that for a while now, some reason our defense doesn't blitz like it used to. The drop off was significant last season and is carrying over to this season. Soft zone coverage with 4 man rushes with Wilkerson and McIntyre at DE, Pouha and Devito at DT. No wonder why we get no pass rush. we need Coples to get playing time and step it up

Nothing against you Dubbs but this thread is a joke. Sanchez has looked better this year with less talent at receiver. Wow....his completion percentage is down. I wonder why. Partially his fault but most of it is the fault of the receivers dropping passes or running sh!t routes. Not to mention, where is the continuity at receiver? Returning receivers.....let's see. Holmes is really about it and he's still either half as$ing it or dropping sh!t. Sanchez's #1 target since he came in the league (Keller) has been out the last 2 games but yet the team has still done enough to split and we're still atop and undefeated in the division (for now). If we somehow pull off a win against San Fran this week, we most likely sit alone in 1st because I HIGHLY doubt New England drops 3 in a row especially with CJ Spiller out for Buffalo.

Its WAY too early for people to be calling for us to trade Sanchez considering Teblow will be asking to be traded in the offseason and we won't be getting much more than a 6th or 7th for his worthless as$. Teblow should be used as a TE, but obviously he can't catch either so he's worthless there too.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

Eli and his teammates seem to over come the same excuses that we can't over come. the difference is Eli Makes his teammates better . that kid brown has already shown Jacobs how to run with smarts and power.
And the Starting RB looks like he might not get back into the starting lineup , that is a problem we should have but we don't . we are our own worst enemy calling Bill Parcels .

Eli didn't make his teammates better in his early days. Eli's 4th season in the league was his worst, even if he won the SB that year. People had doubts about him being a franchise QB, the bust talks were around, it ended with that SB run with him managing the games.

Worst thread of the year. Flynn couldn't beat a rookie after signing a large FA contract.
