Surely he'll want to be on the field and maximise his value? With the way Sanchez has been playing in his absence, if Keller comes back and the play of the QB improves then he's bound to be in a better bargaining position.

he might have wanted to stay around for the birth of his child. but i dont think hes miking it for that, even if he is still sign him. got burned when we took the hard stance on Abraham and we still haven't recovered from that, pass rush-wise.

I doubt it... Hamstring injuries are just tricky, he came back too soon for the Bills game, had a setback and now its lingering.

Im personally not a keller fan. I think he will have a huge role once he gets back and healthy, especially with Holmes being out, but as far as resigning him, I would prefer not to. I've seen some interesting things our of Cumberland as far as pass going goes. Nothing spectacular, but serviceable. With Sparano's O (Assuming he is retained for more that one year with the shit product the O is putting out right now) we need a blocking TE. Two preferably.
