I still believe. Time to circle the wagons. The season's not over. Facing the league's best team, on MNF, time to shine. The Texans are going to come in with their chest out like they already won this thing. I want to see desperation to a man. Lets show the country that we aren't dead. We lost the best players on both sides of the ball but we can still punch Texas in their mouth. Double Johnson, stop Foster and force Schaub to look for his second option. On offense, go no huddle and force the Texans to react a lot quicker. Run at JJ Watt and get him tired, then go PA.

It's time to step up. Still #1 in the division. And all you pessimist out there know damn good and well if this team goes on a winning streak you will be jumping over each other to get back on the bandwagon. Don't even sit there and lie.

Fans on this site, and usually Jet fans in general...are not bandwagon fans.
We're terrible, we've always been terrible, and every once in a while we make it to the AFC Championship game and lose. We're given tastes of success, but in the end, we lose.
It would not surprise me if we win a few more games, but we're not good, and we're not gonna be good anytime soon.
Accept the inevitable and find bright spots where you can, like a good punt or a good tackle.
Lower your expectations.

I will say that after the 45-3 loss to New England things looked almost as bad as this. Then the team steeped up and won some games Sometimes you need to get your ass kicked to step up your game. Things are never as bad as they seem even though they look bad right now.

Problem is.... We lost our best skill player on offense and best player on defense. This team isn't good with those guys, without them even worse... We have the worst set of skill players on offense in the NFL, I can't find a single team that is worse off than we are. On defense, our Lbs are old and slow, we can't stop the run, and we have no pass rusher. This team has ignored the front 7 for too long. Yeah they added Wilkerson and Coples, but we needed faster more explosive LBs and they didn't get any. They kept with the same old slow guys that can't get any edge pressure and now are getting beaten to the edge on runs.
I have us finishing at 4-12.
