I guess Rex is eating his words about wanting to keep him off IR in case the JETS made it to the SB...since we might not be making it out of .500 unless we start to tank games on purpose which I doubt we will...cause I don't want this season tanking shit...

It's about fvcking time he put him on IR. I wouldn't have cared if he would've been medically cleared to play or not for the post-season. If we managed to get there without him, you leave him the fvck out anyway. You don't fvck with what gets you to the playoffs by putting someone in that hasn't played in 13-14 weeks.

Lol. You guys are funny as hell with those comments.

The sad truth is players like Revis are rare but its hard to give them record amounts of money when you have tons of other players,coaches,trainers,and everything NFL players need.

It sucks but it is understandable seeing both sides. The athletes deserve what their talent shows but when you have a whole team to sign hard decisions have to be made on both sides.

Yeah it would be nice if NFL players (the way they destroy their bodies for the game) could be paid like NBA or MLB players but its not possible with the limited amount of games and all the costs.
The NBA only has like 12 active players and no where near the cost with an 82 game schedule.

MLB has 162 games.

I hope Revis stays with the Jets his whole career but if he got a better offer from someone else I couldn't blame him at all as much as I would hate it as a Jets fan to see him go. Especially when one play can end a career and is more likely in football than any other pro sport.

As much as I love football if I was a young multi sport talented athlete Id go with pro basketball or pro baseball over pro football in a heartbeat just for the money.
