Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:48 AM) It's whatever
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:50 AM) Manish leaving jets beat
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:27 AM) Nice Manish leaving? Good shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 11:43 AM) SHJ, your boy EJ leads a very sad life
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:57 AM) haha why do you say that
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:03 PM) I'm friends with SHJ on Facebook and I replied "TEH KNICKS" then EJ recognized my name and started commenting saying shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:04 PM) He then goes "yeah and f*** the Knicks" I wanted to tell him he doesn't know what that joke is because he's banned

How the F*ck do you get the ball @ 2:01 and gave it back @ 1:40. and gave Brady time to come back and tie it. What's the f*ckin rush. Milk the clock and get the FG. His fat ass can't coach. Un-f*ckkin real.

Official 25 yards away from the fvcking play throwing a late as$ flag for P.I. when the official on top of the play didn't
Sparano for calling a slant on 3rd & 1 that hasn't worked all day instead of giving it to Greene who's been perfect on 16 attempts
Hill for dropping the catch that would've put the game away in the 4th

Sanchez could easily be listed in both categories so he won't go in either. Had decent numbers but the turnovers were bad.

i agree. BUT the did run 3 plays to try and run the clock.

Tebow run-to the 2 min warning
Mcknight run-NE Timeout
Sanchez Sack-NE Timeout

not much you can do better then that. if mark throws a incop on 3rd and 8 the clock stops and NE had 2 TOs left

How is Sanchez a stud? He turned it over 3 times and was inconsistent.

Why not put the costly turnovers by Sanchez in the duds? That underthrow that was intercepted was AWFUl, first off he was WAY LATE on that play, Hill was extremely wide open and he waited and then threw it late and underthrew it for a INT. You can't do that...

Yes Hill had a f*** up today with that bad drop.

And that was awful on the 3rd and 1, I would have had Tebow in a ran it or did a jump pass. You brought in Tebow for some reason, that was a perfect situation to use him. I would have went for it on 4th then, we needed a TD there, not a FG.

Sanchez had 1 spectacular pass that he threaded the needle to keller for the td, and was complete trash outside of that. he had a couple dropped passes but even when he completed passes he made wide open receivers have to run out of bounds with no one around or get killed.

Sanchez has an issue with accuracy. He likes to throw at recievers feet and knees. How many passes did the reciever have to go to the ground to make the catch today. How many yards and points were left on the field because of that? He was not a dud but nowhere near a stud. I have been a Sanchez supporter until the past few weeks.

Don't forget the constant high throws, that one today to Keller was just awful. If he didn't throw it where Keller had to jump to get it, Keller would of had a big gain and there is a reason why we have constantly been last in the league in YAC with Sanchez at QB.

Studs:

Kerley - a career day for him. He was exceptional.
Keller
Hilliard
Folk
McKnight
Wilkerson

I thought the defence did well, but we still need to improve against the run.

Duds:

Penalties - there were too many of them again. The PI call on Wilson was somewhat harsh, but some of our veteran players - notably Brandon Moore - made a couple costly mental errors that pushed drives back.
Redzone play calling - the slant intended for Schilens on 3rd and 1 was way too predictable
Rookie mistakes - Demario Davis (although he was solid when in on defence) left his lane on McCourty's return TD, while Stephen Hill's drop late in the fourth quarter was huge.

It was a great fight back in the fourth. But the reason why the Patriots won yesterday and have been so successful over the past decade is that they take advantage of great opportunities rather than contrive to shoot themselves in the foot as we did at key moments.

Im typically a Sanchez supporter...But after yesterdays game, Im actually disappointed. I seriously question his attention to detail and ability to feel pressure. His accuracy is good enough to get the balls there, but there were numerous throws that couldve allowed for more YAC if thrown properly. He took a few sacks where he couldve easily thrown the ball away. Its the same thing every game. He needs to improve on this to be an average starter in the NFL. We went against the leagues worst deep pass defense...Just cause Mark went over 300 does not mean he is a great QB

You nailed it.
Fifteen years ago after an especially disappointing loss to Miami, Esiason, then the Jets' quarterback, was making the seven-mile drive from the Meadowlands back to Manhattan.
While he was slogging through stop-and-go traffic at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, the car next to him was violently rear-ended. The quarterback threw his car into park, hopped out and ran to the woman whose car had been hit. She was wearing, of all things, an Esiason jersey, and was utterly shocked when he tapped on her window to check on her.
"Are you OK?" he said, trying to keep calm. "Are you OK?"
"Boomer? Is that you?" she asked the Good Samaritan, sounding disoriented. "I think I'm OK, but . ... "
But what?
"But you guys sucked."
Welcome to the New York Jets, Tim Tebow.

Mark had an up and down game. he definitely didn't have a game to shut up the haters. He played well in stretches and did bone head plays in some stretches. But then again thats the problem with Sanchez. He's consistently inconsistent. Sanchez was a stud and a dud.

WOW. Guys, Sanchez missed a throw or two, and the INT is completely his fault. But come on now. Sanchez isnt the only reason we lost the game yesterday. I know he isnt a perfect QB, but come on guys.

BTW, Keller and Kerey are my new favorite players!

That holding call on Sanchez's 15 yard run was BS.
The facemask on the kick was BS, It was a facemask but it was after the punt.
The pass interference call was BS.

A throw or two may be short sighted. I did not call him a dud I just said he was not a stud.r I would say he played average which is better than his norm. If he would have hit Hill for that wide open TD maybe I would have a different view. As a fan it is hard to really evaluate because we do not know what the play call was. Maybe Hill was not supposed be therebut he sat down when he saw an area with no coverage . But we can only judge on what we know. You are right about Kerley he has easily made me forget about Cotchery and I think Hill will eventually be a playmaker. He is just raw. I think we played well abouve our talent level for 3 weeks now and that is a credit to the coaching staff.
