Manning didn't want to come here, but I can't believe some people actually didn't want Manning. Hes playing at such a high level right now, wish we were able to take advantage of that opportunity.

Yeah and Kennedy should have rode with the top up that day in Dallas. Manning could still get slammed and end up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life and Wilson could end up being a one hit/season wonder. We don't know what's going to happen tomorrow and we didn't know what was going to happen today 9 months ago.

Passing on Manning was the right decision. Look at the money they gave him and then look at the surgeries he has had to go through recently. As odd as it is to type this, Manning not becoming a Jet at this point in his career (if I remember correctly, he wasn't interested anyway) was a well avoided risk.

And this is the NY Jets.. If Manning came here, you all know he wouldnt be having the same season hes having now. Our luck, he would have been knocked out the first game of the season. Jets are cursed.. Manning made the right decision playing for the Broncos.

With our luck, Manning would come in under center in preseason, WFH would've let a DE through without touching him and Manning would be a vegetable. Then Sparano would run the wildcat with Russell Williams about as well as he's running it with Tebow while Sanchez would be throwing bombs to Sidney Rice or Larry Fitzgerald. Chris Jenkins would be shitting all over the Jets for giving up on Mark too soon and everyone would be comparing him to Eli... SOJ.
