Stephen Hill Is Terrible

Sorry but I'm gonna have to defend SHJ here. Hill has been BAD outside of week 1. He may have literally cost us the Pats game. I'm not saying he's a lost cause, but the guy seriously has some of the worst hands in the NFL this season. 115 is right, he is raw, but his rawness was supposed to related more to his ability to run routes than anything else. So now on top of learning route trees, he's gotta learn to catch the damn ball (a receivers primary job). As of today, he's a big guy that can run really fast in a straight line, but if the ball is thrown in his direction i wanna close my eyes and pray.
"I thought he was good?!? If he prays when he scores. Everyone knew him for praying. That only can mean he scores :)"
Quote from my wife when I told her I liked Tebow, but that he sucks as a QB

People have to also realize that he was brought in to be a number 2 opposite of holmes who attracted the most attention. Now most of the attention is on him as he is seeing the double teams due to his speed over kerly outside. kerly was supposed to be the slot guy but is starting now. then on 3 WRs either gates or schillens takes teh outside and kerly slides inside which again means that hill is seeing the double teams
Get it done MT

The guys a rookie who was supposed to be the second/third receiver. Everyone knew he needed developing and he doesnt have an elite QB throwing it to him. He has been about as successful as anyone else we have drafted since Ryan took over.

Absolutely not true. Hill is not being doubled. You know why? Because at this point he's a non factor. Everytime he's in the play, he's single covered. When the pass hit him in his GODDAMN FACEMASK he wasn't doubled. He was singled and had his man beat. Hill, flat out, cannot catch. You can quote whatever statistic you want and throw whatever name in there you can find, but if you watch the game, you see that Hill has absolutely no hands. If you find the statistic, I'd like to see the % of Hill's passes dropped to targets.

It doesn't matter whether he's a rookie or not. Rookie WRs need time to acclimate to the speed of the NFL. True. Rookie WRs need time to learn the NFL route tree. True. When has a rookie WR needed time to learn how to CATCH? You're a Wide Reciever... operative word is RECIEVER. It's in his damn job description! You want to put him letting the ball go through his hands and hitting him in his facemask on Sanchez? Should Sanchez have wrapped the ball in some duct tape for him?
We drafted Kerley with Ryan here. Kerley is light years ahead of Hill.
