Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:59 PM) yeah but hes white and a patriot
santana Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) goodell is busy banning handbags from stadiums
santana Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) this country is priming its self for a massive protest this handbag shit is retarded
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) They are so f***ing stupid
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) Like people need more reasons to stay at home for the game
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) Honestly, at this point, the only way I'd go to an NFL game was A. Free tickets B. Tickets were close enough to the field that I felt like I could heckle a player and be heard
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) its not stupid its actually genius
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) the problem is i know for sure the evil genius behind it is dan snyder and other owners pushing for this shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) they want their new stadiums to inhale your money from the minute you enter its zipcode
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) Genius in the sense that you force people to spend more money
santana Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) right
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) Baseball stadiums started doing this since right after 9/11
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) I used to go to Mets games as a kid with a subway hero
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right

Start McElroy, Sanchez blows and you just can't sit there and keep starting him.

I voted for McElroy. Starting Mark does nothing for Ryan or the team unless he came in and played better than he has ever played. If McElroy came in and the team played better than Ryan proves Sanchez held him back. If the team still sucks than it is as bad as the worst naysayers think.

Sanchez. And if he flops next week put McElroy in again. But don't get too hype folks. This was the Cardinals. Rex getting excited and all. But this team had me falling asleep watching the first half. Happy to see McElroy get to shine. He deserves it but this team will not win out

We can only pray that it is McElroy. He's earned the right to start by his performance today. The team definitely responded to him. On both sides of the ball. He's got smarts and the arm strength needed. He just needs to stop staring down receivers.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!

i was just thinking the same thing. sanchez has the experience, but if he plays like doo-doo than yank him. mcelroy is sanchez from 2009 right now.

2 issues with Sanchez starting:

1) Rex may never put McElroy in again. I'm still surprised he pulled Sanchez.

2) Tebow has to be activated soon. Who would you rather have Tebow or McElroy?

I rather McElroy get all the opportunities he can. Sanchez is done, complete shit this season.

I think it will be McElroy. He did not get to throw much but his passes where all catchable and on target except one that I saw. Lets see what he can do with a week of prep. I do think the Cardinals Offense is probably the only one worse than ours though. :sterb041:

1) I agree. I was hoping it would happen though. I am still shocked he pulled him.

2)I think McElroy has more upside. We are not going anywhere this season so lets see what we have in our young players so we can address the real areas of need in the Offseason

I don't know yet but I think the bigger question is does Clemens11 change his name to McElroy14 now or does he stick with Tebow15?

It really depends on what the team's goals are going forward. If the front office and coaches are convinced that they'll move on from Sanchez in the offseason, then I'd expect McElroy to start (Tebow, even if he recovers in time, now appears out of the frame). But if they want to give themselves a better chance of winning and still see Mark being with the team next year (something they may be forced to given his contract situation), then I think Rex will go with Sanchez, with the warning that any repeat of his performance against Arizona will result in him being yanked far earlier than he was yesterday.

I will say this.

The play calling sucks. I mean seriously, we haven't fooled a single team with opening up the game with the play action pass! WTF is up with the run game being successful, and we have Sanchez still throwing the damn football to the other team? We started the game with a decent running attack (after said failed PA Pass to start the game.)

If it is TEBOW, we need to have him under center and run that way.
If it is Sanchez, we need to stick to the run.
If it is McElroy, we need to stick to the run.

Sean Greene had a good hard physical game, And I liked what I saw from Bilal Powell.
Run the f***ing football!

This is the only team in the league where the starting QB get pulled and the guy who replaced him comes in an scores a TD to win the game...and people call for someone else to start next week.

It must be great for Tebow that no matter what he does, he is considered a success.

People need to stop thinking the team is going to move on from Sanchez next season. He's guaranteed 10 million in salary, so he's here no matter what unless someone comes along and is willing to take that off our hands. We need to dump Teblow & try to get McElroy groomed or developed because right now he's our best shot at winning since the team managed to detroy anything that Sanchez could have been. He had potential but that's likely gone now due to a lack of consistency at receiver, & a lack of trust in him as shown by putting in a bum every 3rd down until he got hurt. Now the kid has no faith or confidence in himself so he's doomed to either be a career backup or a washout.

I say let McElroy have the reins for the remainder of the season. We've got 4 games left against teams with sub 500 records. It can't hurt in any way. That's for damn sure.

Random thoughts
1) I wonder it Tanny has some verbiage in the contract where we could get out with less of a hit? I am sure he did not think Sanchez was great.
2) If our total $ for a position remains the same who cares? Cutting/ Trading Tebow will clear $ as well.
3) I would rather eat the cap and have a better player (if he is)
4) We also could do a trade were we keep some of the cap dollars.
5) There is always a way. Vern took a paycut for no reason that we know about.
6) I am all about letting McElroy play the rest of the year or until he proves he can't. We know what we have with Tim And Mark already.
