Jets pick up option on Wilkerson
Jetsfan115 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:33 PM) so i bet powell barely gets any touches this year and goodson gets cut
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:34 PM) Goodson is as good as gone.
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:34 PM) With all his legal issues and coming off injury he is done. Possibly even in the NFL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:39 PM) Powell is average anyways.
Chaos Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:39 PM) @ProFootballTalk 5m

Per source, Chris Johnson's two-year deal has a base value of $8 million, with another $1 million available in incentives based on yardage.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:40 PM) He does a lot of things well, but isn't talented enough. Johnson has breakaway ability still and Ivory is man beast running the football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:41 PM) We will get another WR in the draft. Even in round 2 you can get a starting WR
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 04:09 PM) I am still standing by my CB in the first round and WR in the second prediction
santana Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:19 PM) The title race is bale
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:34 PM) Sidney rice coming in for a visit
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:49 PM) I think the Jets are getting themselves ready to draft best player available
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:49 PM) Last year they stuck to their board
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:27 PM) if they sign him I think that means they look to take a CB round 1
2JBallar01 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:32 PM) “@AdamSchefter: RB Chris Johnson's 2-year deal with Jets has a team option in it for year two. Jets have option to pick up year two at $4M in February 2015.”
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:51 PM) @AlbertBreer 2m
Sidney Rice has agreed to terms with the Seahawks on a one-year deal, per source.

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:56 PM) I rather get a offensive playmaker

STUDS:
Powell
Mo Wilk

Duds:
Sanchez - I'm done with him
Greene - Clearly shows that Powell should be the starting RB
Rex for not dressing McElroy
TannenBUM for being a shitty GM
Woody Johnson for worrying more about PSL's than the product on the field...

I might be in the minority but I don't think this team deserves to be in the Playoffs...it is clear that our Offense is OFFENSIVE and our D is SLOW as MolASSESS except for Mo Wilk and Coples is getting better but everyone else especially the LB core is SLOW...we need so much change it's not even funny...we don't deserve to be in the Playoff Conversation and we showed it in the past 2 weeks against some sorry ass teams (Arizona and Jax) that we are inept...CHANGE IS NEEDED!!! PERIOD!!!!

Studs:
Powell - proves he should be the starter each chance he gets
Wilk - was beasting through the line multiple times today
Cro - shut down their receivers, got knocked out fot he game, came back in & immediately had an impact again
McElroy - just for not blasting the living fvck out of Rex for not starting him even though he easily could have and would've been justified in doing it

Duds:
WR Corps - once again proving they have no business being anywhere except the practice squad at beast but we're stuck with them
Sanchez - has no confidene in himself at this point
Rex - Made an injured Teblow active over McElroy to make people in Jacksonville happy? I thought the point was to win games, not publicity stunts
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!

I don't think we deserve to be in the playoffs. But will I say no if the Jets make it? Nope. They'll be a shit team that took advantage/got lucky in a weak AFC. It happens.

look at the 7-9 Seahawks (took advantage of a weak nfc west) or the 9-7 Cardinals of 2009 (who almost won the superbowl that year)

you gotta play what's given to you and that's that

but you're right in saying things won't change if we make the playoffs. The cardinals are feeling the effects of that to this day

Just watched the condensed version of the game and thought our young defensive players made the most of their snaps. McIntyre had the pressure that forced Scott's interception and had Henne harried a couple other times too. Coples had the sack and some other solid plays, while Lankster made some sound STs plays. I thought Antonio Allen did well rushing off the edge a couple times too and helped force some mistimed throws.

Otherwise it was a so-so performance all-round. The defence bent, but fortunately it didn't break, while the offense did nothing spectacular. Greene and Powell got their wheels churning in the second half behind some strong blocking, but started sluggishly.
