Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:31 PM) http://newyork.sbnation.com/2012/8/17/3249284/heisman-trophy-watchlist-2012-las-vegas-betting-odds-line-matt-barkley-montee-ball-denard-robinson
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

I'm happy about it. I liked Braylon Edwards and I think with the right amount of tree sap he can start catching the deep balls again! Posted Image

Braylon isn't the same player he was in 2010, his knee injury was significant and he doesn't look as fast as he was.

It's not official yet. Media is speculating that the Jets are looking to add a WR to replace Bell. Also saying that Braylon deal should be done by today.

He's still far better than some of the filler clogging up the depth chart at wide receiver. Hopefully Braylon can rekindle at least some of the chemistry he had with Sanchez in these final few weeks, even if he's not the player he was two years ago.

One source tells me it's "done deal" Jets will sign Braylon Edwards if he clears waivers. Second source says it will happen too. #nyj

Are you guys serious???? Talk about grasping at straws....

Wow the guy has 23 catches in the last two years.Literally amazing stats.

The way I see it Rex is trying to do anything to try help his adopted son Sanchez keep his job instead of coming to the reality that Mark is terrible.

Here is Braylons history

Cleveland got rid of him because he was a cancer that couldn't keep his mouth shut and always had legal trouble.

Then Jets got rid of him because he bad mouthed the whole team and caused a lot of problems. Especially bad mouthed Sanchez which should upset you guys who love Sanchez. Also if you guys forget he also got a dwi which was part of the reason he was cut.

Also he was cut by San Fransisco after being really disappointing and then getting a knee injury. The 49`rs were 12-3 and a great team but here was Braylon`s stats. His stats literally sucked.Lets not forget he bad mouthed the Jets.

49`rs(2011).............15 catches for 181 yards and no touchdowns in eight games with five starts F*cking amazingly sh*tty

Next he is cut by Seattle in 2012 after crappy stats and and a possible knee injury (though I think they just wanted to get rid of him)
he also bad mouthed the Jets as little as a week a go.

stats:

Eight catches for 74 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. More crappy stats.

Now the Jets sign him and Jets Nation is ecstatic????? This is a desperation move and nothing more. This is more evidence that Mike Tannenbaum doesn't know wtf he is doing. He is hoping for miracles instead of using his brain. Obviously Tannenbaum does not have an eye for talent and needs fired or demoted to being a money guy only.

The guy isn't good at route running and I think his career is done. If Edwards cant play well with qb`s that are far more skillful than Mark and on great teams then what do you guys realistically think he will do for the Jets and a struggling Mark Sanchez????

If this turns out well I sill be utterly surprised.

We shall see.

I really doubt it though.I think its more likely he wont help at all. We dont have a crystal ball so only time will tell.

Edwards is also known for having bad hands. He drops a lot of balls. Id say Kerley is way better than Edwards and as as crappy as the team is Id rather they continue to try and develop the rookie Hill instead of bringing in a cancer that is probably at the end of his career, couldn't cut it with better teams, and is nursing a knee injury..not to mention he had a knee surgery and we have no idea how well its been repaired.

Hill has looked bad and may be a total bust but he is a rookie and I think its stupid they give up on a rookie in this short of time and bring in someone who hasn't done anything in two years.

Of course Edwards is happy to be with the Jets now. Why wouldn't he be since not many teams even want him.

Kerley is good in the slot. Having him at #1 is an issue since he can't get open down the seam... not that we ever throw deep. Hill's asset is his speed and his hands are a liability. Now he has a sprained knee ligament so he's basically a lame who can't catch. I rather see him take a week off and heal up instead of rush out there, get seriously injured and lose a step. BE has been crying about the Jets letting him go for 2 years and maybe he'll be motivated enough to go balls out these last 3 games with the hopes of getting a long term deal. I mean, we have Schillens, Gilliard and Gates... not exactly murders row.
