In case anyone forgot any part of the season, SI did a pretty nice job of reminding us why we suck.

Season summary? Jets still have 2 games to go! It could potentially get worse.

We sucked because we have a awful QB starting. We have no talent on offense to offset that. We lack talent and lost some of our best players. Sione Pouha hasn't been the same at NT and our run defense has suffered. Our Lbs are old and slow. Tony Sparano was a dumb hire as OC, but it didn't really matter anyways because our offense would have sucked either way with the talent and QB situation. The Tebow move was pointless, it didn't really effect anything though. Fact is this team lacks talent and needs a real QB.

It's funny how teams go from talented to untalented and untalented to talented with a coaching change. The 49ers went from having a couple nice pieces to elite with a change from a terrible coach to a good one. The Jets went from a 10 win team before nd at the start of Ryans hiring and have degenerated into a laughing stock but people want to pretend it is just talent issues and not the coach. If that were true we would actually beat other untalented teams. Instead we struggle to beat Arizona and lose to Tennessee. Ryan is a pitiful HC who has done nothing for the team that just hiring him as a DC wouldn't have done.

Probably the most miserable season of my tenure as a Jets fan. We've had far worse records previously, but never were the Jets as big a laughing stock as they are today. The increased misery has been brought upon the team by the decision to seek attention rather than excellence as a number of those slides show (it's not just been Ryan and Tannenbaum who have done that, but veteran players who should know far better too).
Roll on the changes that simply have to happen.

Find me a team that has less talent than the Jets have. IMO our biggest problem has been Sanchez turning the ball over constantly. If you just placed a new coach on this team, I don't see how our record would be any better, I do see how it could be worse though. Since our defense wouldn't be top 10 anymore without Rex. Our defense keeping them in the game won us a few extra games we shouldn't be winning and they gave the team a chance to win vs the Titans, despite Sanchez turning it over 5 times.
