CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets' firing of offensive coordinator Tony Sparano is "imminent."

Sparano has been fileted on ESPN and elsewhere for the offense he fielded in 2012, which saw Mark Sanchez take yet another step back in his career. Per La Canfora, GM Mike Tannenbaum is Sparano's biggest supporter inside the Jets' organization, and Tannenbaum may very well be fired as well. never should have been brought in for several reasons.
1- he was the enemy recently in mia.
2- he has won nothing and didn't warrant anything to get the offensive position, so you fire schotty to get someone better, not worse.
3- rex has called the wildcat a gimmick, but all of a sudden it is the full reason to hire sparano? just dumb and shows that the jets lack vision.
furthermore at the time todd haley's name was being floated around which was dumb also because look at pitts. now. he was never the guy down arizona.
it was kurt warner to larry fitz. that was making haley look good.
you need vision to see past the fool's gold.
