[Chaos]

I know a lot of us are up in arms over how long this search is taking and how it seems like the biggest names don't want to come here. I was on JI and a poster there (Maury77) found these links in relation to Seattle's GM search:

From the looks of it, Korn/Ferry likes to interview a lot of candidates and look in a variety of places. They seem to do a pretty thorough job of the whole thing. Many of the candidates they interviewed for the Seattle position are popping up for the Jets one (Raye, Heckert, Khan, Ross) and they are looking at established locations (Packers, Giants, Steelers, 49ers). Schnieder wasn't even the leading candidate for the Seahawks position but we can all see how that worked out. All in all, it seems like K/F does a thorough job and are in no rush to make a judgement. Connor Orr even mentioned on Twitter today that K/F also likes being unconventional:

Hopefully they don't lay an egg with the Jets pick but it seems like patience is going to have to be the route the fans need to go as the GM search continues.

That makes me feel a bit better, but at the same time the Senior Bowl is right around the corner. I hope that the GM (whoever it is) is hired with enough time to get his people in here to start scouting the way they see fit.

I totally understand that argument, but to play devil's advocate won't scouting reports on most players already be completed and therefore won't be done the way the new GM sees fit? I know they'll add more detail to reports based on college all star games, pro days and the combine, but I presume the majority of the groundwork on potential draft picks has been completed.
