Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) nope

It's time for a lot of people to wake up & realize that Revis is NOT bound for the Hall of Fame. He's honestly no better than Ty Law. Or do you think Law is going to the Hall too considering during his first 6 years in the league, he had MORE INT's, MORE tackles, & same amount of Defensive TD's as Revis? Take a look at both of their first 6 years in the league & compare numbers.

I'm still trying to figure out where I said taxpayers funded the building of MetLife Stadium. Anyway FlyHi's blatant hate for Revis reminds me of a joke I saw on a rerun of The Office last week. If FlyHi had a gun with only two bullets left and he had to shoot Hitler, bin Laden, and Revis...he'd shoot Revis twice. But I doubt an invisible gun is going to do any damage.

What's funny is FlyHi says Revis has to prove first that he will fully recover from his injury before he should get a new contract. BUT he also wants Revis traded now. So if Revis is traded now and does return to his old self and plays like a great CB again, he'll be doing that on another team. So Revis playing like his old self doesn't benefit the Jets at all if he's on another team. But that's what it's really all about. It's not about Revis having to prove himself after his injury. It's about getting rid of Revis period. That's just obvious.

Dude I want Revis traded for the same reasons you do but you're completely out of your rabid ass mind. Revis is hands down the best CB of his generation. It's not even a question ever since Aso went to Philly and got abused for 2 years. Revis is light years ahead of Ty Law... no shit Law got better stats, QBs rather throw it to the 2nd row than throw it to Revis.

Revis is NOT needed here. The risk outweighs the reward. Apparently that concept is too difficult for you to understand. We can either overpay one player that is nothing but a question mark coming off injury whose production couldn't even surpass that of Ty Law or actually get something for him while he at least holds trade value and use the money that would have been wasted on him to pay multiple players to help rebuild this team. Simple math & economics. Apparently that's too difficult for too many people.

You guys post all the little emoticons you want, but the numbers don't lie. Ty Law put up better numbers than Revis. You can use the excuse that people were too afraid to throw against him or whatever you want, but the pass D was just fine without him even compared to when he was here & teams were able to run on us (since that's your next excuse).

Enjoy your ignorance and just being blinded by wearing your Revis colored goggles while most people with any kind of business sense express their interest to move on from Revis. There's more of us than there are of you. Thankfully Revis is helping us by running his mouth to pressure Woody to have him traded. It's got to be his desire to be traded because no one else is DUMB enough to badmouth their owner & pretty mucht eh entire front office claiming they're more important than the team as a whole. He's a diva and nothing more.

It is also a different game now.

The Ty Law rule (5 Yard no touchie)
Defenseless reciever rule
No hitting QB
ECT...

Revis is (was) way better than Law. I would say not as good as Dion Sanders though.

The sad thing about all of this is that I actually agree with you that Revis WAS hands down the best CB playing. My point is that people need to STOP acting like it's some fvcking guarantee that he will be again.

You ask WTF I'm talking about regarding people HOPING he'll be back as the same player he was. I don't give a fvck if his rehab is on schedule or not. Does that guarantee that he'll be the same player? There ARE no guarantees last time I checked when it comes to telling the future after ACL surgery. Did you miss where his own "personal trainer" that's in control of his rehab was already stating his "history of nagging hammy issues"?

I gotta disagree with you because I'm a huge Revis fan. What can't Revis do that Dion did? Dion was faster, but Revis is no slouch. Dion ran a 4.27 and Revis a 4.38, so that .11 difference is there, but it's pretty negligible. Where Revis is head and shoulders better than Dion is tackling. Revis is probably one of the best wrap up guys on our team while Dion had a reputation as guy who avoided contact.

Considering we (this board) do not know the risk I find your comment rather short sighted. But lets speculate because it is entertaining.

There is little risk in this era he will not come back 100%. The only legit risk here is can we resign him to a deal we can all live with or not. If we can you have to keep your talented players. If not we have to trade him to get value. Losing talent is rather counter productive unless you will be lose said talent anyway. He will demand top corner money because he is the best corner in the league. I have heard he is looking for top defensive player money. If I were him I would be saying the same thing although knowing a corner only has so much value would tell me (him) it is not realistic. He is not dumb, he is playing the business game. The problem I have seen in alot of your arguement is you seem to be using unfactual information as factual.

Oh yea... and
Maybe your concept is hard to understand because it's retarded. :hysterical:/>/>

I agree Revis is a better tackler. Not even close. I think of Deon as the best because he did so much more than play corner. He was a kick returner, a punt returner, He played WR and was a leader. He brought swagger and attitude. Maybe Revis could do all this but he has not in the past either because the coaches dont want to risk it or he can't. Either way the proof is in the pudding as they say.

f*** all that because it's the same shit you said yesterday. For the third time now show me where I said that taxpayers paid for MetLife Stadium. I'm still waiting to see where I said that. Before I even reply to this post of yours I want to know where you "Mr. Economics" got the idea that I said it was taxpayers that paid for the new stadium. Please show me.

Little risk he will come back 100%? What data can you provide to back this statement? Considering Revis couldn't even return from his own holdout at 100%, I'm very interested to know what facts you bring to the table.

I've said time & time again that he does hold trade value, so we should get something for him rather than lose him to the highest bidder because we all know the word loyalty is completely foreign to him when it comes to the Jets. He's asked for more money 4 times in 6 years.

I'd rather trade him to get something for him while he's worth it rather than throwing 16-20 mill at a question mark only to win 6 or 7 games each season before he cries for a new contract again in the 2014 off season.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!

Still wondering where you said it? Or do you not understand the concept that if you pay for something via taxes, that makes you a taxpayer?

The real question is do you understand what the words "or" and "either" mean?

Let's recap this.

The fans are going to pay for these new stadiums either way, either in taxes or in ticket prices or both.

You act like citizens of new York spent a dime on the new stadium. Wrong answer. Other than the people of New Jersey putting out money to improve the roads around the stadium, Woody Johnson paid out of pocket for the Jets share.

First the part about Woody Johnson paying out of pocket for the Jets share just is not true. Don't believe me? Read this...
... Now the last time I checked CitiGroup was a bank and not Woody Johnson's pocket. Plus they got a loan from the NFL to help build the stadium also. So...

650 million (Jets loan from CitiGroup)

650 million (Giants loan from Goldman Sachs and Lehman Bros.)

+
300 million (loan from the NFL)

--------------------------------
1.6 billion dollars (which is how much it cost to build the stadium)

Then after I provided that article from the Associated Press proving you were wrong about Woody paying "out of pocket" you tried to back peddle and revise your original comment by saying...

As for the loan......you claimed the taxpayers funded the stadium. I said Woody is because the loan is being paid out of who's pocket? Woody Johnson's. NOT the taxpayers. Its Woody's name on those loan docs isn't it?

So that's the record. I said fans are going to pay for these new stadiumS (plural meaning not just MetLife Stadium [the Jets only have one home stadium]) either in taxes or ticket prices or both. And from that comment you got that I said the taxpayers funded the stadium. In this case MetLife Stadium. But yeah I'm the person that can't read.
