I swear some of you are so clueless. Given this teams draft history, they managed to pull off drafting the best defensive player in the game, and some of you wanted him traded.
Here's a list of all the players we drafted since Terry Bradway has been GM/Director of Scouting:
2001
Santana Moss: serviceable. Made All Pro team and Pro Bowl once.
2002
Bryan Thomas: serviceable.
2003
Dewayne Robertson: Bust.
2004
Jonathan Vilma: Perenial Pro Bowler (3 times)
2005
No draft pick
2006
D'Brickashaw Ferguson Perenial Pro Bowler (3 times)
Nick Mangold: Probable HOFer
2007
Darrelle Revis: Probable HOFer
2008
Vernon Gholston: BUST
Dustin Keller: serviceable
2009
Mark Sanchez: bust
2010
Kyle Wilson: serviceable bust
2011
Muhammad Wilkerson: too soon to tell, signs are there
2012
Quinton Coples: too soon to tell, like what I saw
So thats 10 drafts, 12 players. 2 HOFers. 4 ProBowlers. 4 Busts and 3 solid players. We're only doing 8 years, so that's not too bad. We draft a Pro Bowler every other year (and unfortunately a bust as well). It's basically a coin flip.

This team is NOT talented right now.
Agreed. This is why we should be stockpilling picks.

Trading the most talented player in the league (and probably in Jets history) will NOT improve the New York Jets in 2013.
How's keeping Revis going to improve the Jets? He missed this season and we won 6 games. How many games would we have won had he been healthy? We'd still be below .500, which is why in my eyes, he's expendable.
