IMO, if he falls out of the top 5 picks, it's a mistake... he's this draft's Von Miller.

I/we don't know much about his back...but my feeling is it's a long term issue. Sure, he can play now, but is it worth it and for how much longer?

And I'll take the opinion of doctor's at USC over Georgia...just sayin.

NO. Trading up and losing picks is partly responsible for our problems. The idea is to acquire as many picks as possible. Drafting is a hit and miss proposition. No one is a sure thing. So the key is to draft a number of players so a certain number would stick.

In your made up example, you suggest 10 picks with 6 sticking to be bad. I would consider that great. 6 people make the team makes us stronger.

It's the Dwayne Robertson 4th pick, Sanchez 5th pick, Vernon Gholston 6th pick that cost us choices that kill us.
