What's this about Loutelei falling to them at #9? Is that legit? Isn't he a consensus Top Three player on the board?

Damontre Moore, Bjoern Werner, and Jarvis Jones probably don't fall to us. Though maybe Jones does because of that spinal condition, which scares me as well.
At RB, I like Stepfan Taylor. Hes low to the ground, has the burst, can catch out of the backfield.... I would take him in round 2 if he was there, he would be our best RB right away.
I also like the potential of Marcus Lattimore and would like taking a gamble on him later.
Jetsman05, what are your thoughts on Mike Gillislee?? He was a stud at the senior bowl.

He is, however, another one with a ton of carries in college, and I don't expect him to be a long term solution. But on a team with a ton of needs, I think a guy like Franklin (who I think is one of the most pro ready backs) can come in and be productive right away and for a few years while the Jets rebuild. Especially considering he will probably be picked in the 4th round range.

I like Franklin as well but like you said HJ, he's in the Montee Ball group for me. Players who could possibly come right in, be good for 2-3 years and that's it.

He only had like 5 sacks, he looks like Aaron Maybin. But the upside is why people keep mocking him high, hes really fast and explosive and has length. He looked good vs Clemson but did get injured that game.
I like Jordan better than Mingo.

Draft prospects, I don't get into the actual games as much as NFL games. But now we are talking about potential draft picks and how these guys will look in the NFL.

Honestly, I think a big part of it is that we're a NY sports team board. It's kinda hard to really follow college football, for me at least, because there really isnt a huge college sports arena here. Aside for those NJ Rutgers fans and upstate Cuse fans, there's no local schools to root for.

You're right. No one should ever draft a USC QB ever again. Clearly, since a couple of guys didn't live up to being the top QBs that they were projected to be, that means that for whatever reason, this school cannot produce QBs. Other schools produce franchise NFL QBs with regularity and other college QBs that get drafted high all live up to their expectations.

A couple? you know a couple means the number 2 right? try this: Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, John David Booty, and Mark Sanchez.
That's not a couple, that is 4 straight. That's a culture of lazy,pre-madonna qbs, that don't amount to anything as pros because their college careers are solely a product of the immense talent around them on offense.
Oh, and to top it all off, the guy is coming off of shoulder surgery. Yea pick him up.

Most people on here don't live in Dixie home boy. Don't get me wrong, I love love love college football and even prefer it to the NFL, but the North East has never and will never be an area that lives and dies by college ball.
