the market is strong for Alex Smith apparently, idk if we'll have enough for him. Him and Matt Flynn are the 2 QBs I would most want to add, Flynn should be cheap and has experience in the WCO. I don't like the QBs in this draft. Plus, I rather use draft picks to fix the holes at other positions.

You really are delusional. You realize ACL injuries no longer jeopardize careers like they used to right? Look at Peterson and Jamal Charles this year, Ricky Rubio is playing great as we speak, and there are multiple case studies like Derrick Rose, Ladarius Webb, and Rajon Rondo that we can learn from soon. No name rookie? LMFAO. You're about as ignorant as they come buddy. Revis doesn't have to prove shit to have trade value, it already exists. Get over yourself and your superior opinions, you'll be doing the entire f***ing world a favor.
Apparently you need to learn how to read. I SAID Revis has trade value but that's about it. And don't even TRY comparing him to Peterson or Charles. Mevis was in what kind of shape just coming off his holdout? Oh....that's right. Nagging hammy issues. But yet you expect him to come out & perform like a pro-bowler off an ACL surgery? Who's the delusional one here? Peterson & Charles are the exceptions to the rule. Not the norm coming off ACL injury.
You guys act like hes a God & that he's a lock for the Hall of Fame. Fvcking Wayne Chrebet was a better Jet ANY DAY of the week over Mevis. Revis = Keyshawn Johnson. A couple good years & thinks he's owed the world.
If we are ultimately stuck with him for additional years, I'll root for him obviously only because of the uniform that he wears. Not the individual. I say we should get something for him while he does still hold some kind of value & yet that's delusional? I could've sworn you were saying the same damn thing. Welcome to the world of delusion....lol.
Let me ask you something since I'm SOOOO ignorant and all of you are soooo superior in intellect than I am. Since the September 23rd injury, what football activities has Revis done? What activities has he done at all to make you believe he's going to be the same guy? Everything I've read indicates he wont be ready for football related tasks until sometime in April. A full 7 months after the injury. Do you think AP or Charles took 7 months? I don't. So basically, until he proves himself to be of worth, he's got about as much worth as someone coming into the NFL for the first time. He's living off of what he has done IN THE PAST. Not the present.
So talk to me about how delusional I am after this season and we'll see who has what knowledge of ACL injuries.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

The fact that you're doubting Revis's commitment to football is just offensive. The guy is insanely dedicated to his craft. He was working out BEFORE his surgery to quicken the recovery time. He has plenty of time to heal up and return to the field, why rush things when football season is so far away? And what exactly makes you think that you're better qualified then his doctors to make recovery timetables? He has access to the best medical care and rehab out there, I'll agree with whatever path of action they determine.

Chaos.......why is it that you guys keep putting words in my mouth? Where have I EVER questioned his commitment to football? I never have. I question his commitment to the NY Jets. And that's based on HIS actions REPEATEDLY. When are you people ever going to take the blinders off and see that?
I didn't set his recovery timetable either. I brought up the recovery timetable because so many people around here seem to be under the belief that he's going to come back being the same Revis he was before the injury. I say he won't. Why? Because of his past production after nowhere near as much time off. He came up lame repeatedly with hammy issues coming off his holdout & wasn't in football shape. It was brought up that A.P. & Jamal Charles both had knee surgeries & came back fine. I stated that both of them were doing football related activities sooner than 7 months. Revis is waiting until sometime in April to start. That'll be 7 months after the injury. A.P. was already playing again just about 8 months after surgery to repair his ACL AND MCL. I simply said people shouldn't use A.P. and Jamal Charles as the examples and expect Revis to be like them because he's not. They're the exceptions to the rule. Revis is not God. I say that if Revis needs to be compared to any other player in the history of the league, it should be Keyshawn Johnson.

Even though this turned into a Revis topic, I would like to add a few things. Mornhinweg was Foles OC last year, so the kid already knows the system and could help implement it. Also, despite Philly's atrocious season last year, Foles managed multiple 300 yard games and completed over 60% of his passes for a team that had practically given up already. And he had a REALLY bad offensive line. Just a few things worth pointing out.
I also read somewhere (I could probably find a link I'm a little bit) that Foles was the leagues 11th most accurate passer when under pressure. Not bad for a rookie.
