If Revis Was Traded

for say a first and a 2nd rounder. you think the jets would potentially trade the 9 pick and a 2nd rounder to get to the 5 or 6 spot to get Dee Milliner. Would you anti-revis trade people be fine with that? essentially trade revis for a first and the best CB prospect in the draft?

If Revis were to be traded (and I don't think he should without a proper negotiation) they don't need to trade up at all...especially not this draft. I would rather picks for Revis (as well as a trade down from this years #9) go toward 2014 so they can find a way to position themselves to get Manziel and Clowney (with two potential 1st round picks). I know it's easier said than done though

Absolutely not. If we were lucky enough to get a first and second round pick for Revis, which I doubt until his knee is found to be healthy, I would try and trade down with the number 9 to say around 14 in eturn for another second rounder. That would give us 2 first round and three second round picks. With 14 we should still be able to get one of the OLB's. Then I would use the remaining 4 picks on a CB, OG, another OLB and a QB (E J Manuel). In the third round I would look for a safety.

I went to Florida State, and I've obviously watched manuel play quite a bit...what is with all the love for this guy? He isn't anything special...wasted draft pick for any team using it on him before the 4th round.

i agree. if fsu had any decent qb's recently they could have challenged for a championship.
e.j. does not read thru his progressions well.

I rather stay and get one of the high upside edge rushers. We have absolutely no one at OLB right now, even though Rex said that Coples will probably see more time on the edge next season. Unless we sign a FA that is probably where our 1st round pick should go to, as I do not see a top offensive player there besides a OG which I don't like that high anyways.
