ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:19 PM) damn pad
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:20 PM) ??
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:20 PM) OOOOK
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:20 PM) Anyway go Hawks
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:21 PM) Why the Seahawks aren't very good this year. They have 22 or 24 undrafted players on their roster because they had to let hallf or over half of their team go from last year because of having to pay so much to certain star players
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:21 PM) No team with that many undrafted players on the roster is going to be good
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:22 PM) I'm talking about the defense
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:22 PM) So they have an excuse
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:22 PM) How many starters are back from last year?
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:23 PM) They had to let defensive players go too. And that's why they refused to pay Chancellor. They don't have the money
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:24 PM) Most of the Defense is back from last season.. who besides the 2nd CB do they not have?
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:24 PM) I don't know how many starters. I didn't look through the whole active roster from last year to this year. But I know they let a good many starters go too
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:25 PM) Anyway we need them to win
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:26 PM) it puts us in a 4 way tie for the WC
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:26 PM) Maybe Hou can win the division
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:26 PM) They had to let a corner and safety go from the defense and some dline from the starting line up. And some players on the online too
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:27 PM) That's why Russel isn't getting protection and Lynch is having a down year
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:28 PM) Yeah but you need to chr
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:29 PM) check my list of tiebreakers we are down in division and conference games. If the Jets don't beat the Bills and win most of the conference games no playoffs
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:31 PM) Plus we are down in schedule strength to everyone in the hunt for the playoffs except Houston but they have the win and tiebreaker against the Jets
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:32 PM) Oh and also the Bills are below us in schedule strength but have a win against us so have tiebreaker for now
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:33 PM) Chiefs have the easy schedule in the league got the rest of the season so chances of them not getting in are slim
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:35 PM) Chiefs and Stelers are in the drivers seat
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:36 PM) Right but there is a lot of games to go still
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:36 PM) who knows maybe we beat Tenn NYG Dal and Buf
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:36 PM) 10-6?? Maybe
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:36 PM) 1 game at a time I agree
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:36 PM) KC and Oakland have to play each other twice
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:38 PM) Pitt Still has to play Cinn and Denver
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:39 PM) Who they may beat.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:41 PM) We just need Sea to win
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:41 PM) Game over
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:41 PM) Hawks win
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:42 PM) Well if they make the PAT
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:42 PM) My bad I thought Pitt had 0 timeouts left
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:46 PM) I don't trust Denver against any good team with their backup qb in. I except the Chiefs to overtake the division. They really don't trust him either since an injured Manning is the #2 qb. He barely won last week
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:47 PM) Ben is hurt now
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:47 PM) Don't think its anything big tho
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 07:48 PM) But Steelers losing today and if they lose against the Bengals would help
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 07:55 PM) Ben has a possible concussion
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:08 PM) And Pitt plays Indy next week
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:09 PM) If Pittsburgh lose it help if indy lose Houston might be in 1st and have a tie breaker over indy
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:16 PM) I just can't wait for Sunday. Me and my brother are going to the game. He's a giants fan. So somebody is going home mad
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 10:46 PM) Where is frosty??.and his MIGHTY DOLPHINS
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 10:58 PM) Marshall is 70 yards away from being our 1st 1000 yard receiver since cotch in 07

Tampa Bay Buccaneers management, all the way up to the Glazer family that owns the team, is fully on board with trading for New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday. That includes paying Revis what is considered an acceptable salary.

The hold up, for now, is what the Jets are willing to accept in a trade. The Buccaneers don't want to relinquish their first-round pick in next month's NFL draft. Tampa Bay holds the No. 13 overall pick.

Darrelle Revis missed mnost of last season after suffering a knee injury. (AP)While the trade price for a star player was set this week with the Seattle Seahawks giving up a first- and a seventh-round this year and a third-round pick in 2014, the Bucs aren't willing to match that deal exactly, a team source said. The big difference is that Seattle's first-round pick this year was No. 25 overall, far less valuable than Tampa Bay's first selection.

The same Bucs source indicated Tampa Bay might be more willing to surrender its 2014 first-rounder, gambling that next year's selection won't be as high if the team improves. The Buccaneers have already made a significant play in free agency to improve by signing safety Dashon Goldson to a reported five-year, $41.25 million deal.

As for why the Jets, who declined to comment, might be better off with a first-round pick next year, it's highly possible the team may have to make a change at quarterback and perhaps head coach after the 2013 season. More draft picks in 2014 might give the Jets the ammunition to make a trade, if necessary, for a higher pick depending on how many quarterbacks are available in the 2014 draft. For instance, Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville is projected by many analysts to be a first-round pick next year and Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M could also declare for the draft.

The 2013 draft is not loaded with top-end quarterbacks. It's been speculated that Geno Smith could be the only first-round quarterback, though some observes believe no passers will go in the opening stanza. Beyond that, the Jets likely don't want to take a quarterback now if they are looking to hire a new coach who might want to pick his own quarterback.

Either way, the Jets may have no choice but to make a deal. Jets owner Woody Johnson declined to discuss the Revis situation earlier this week, saying he would talk about it at the league meetings, which start Sunday in Phoenix.

As for Tampa Bay, the key to making this deal happen is that the family of owner Malcolm Glazer (sons Bryan and Joel Glazer are the co-chairmen of the Bucs) is extremely interested in completing the trade.

Beyond Revis' playing ability, the cornerback's college coach at Pitt, Dave Wannstedt, is now on Tampa Bay's staff as the special teams coach and has spoken highly of Revis. In addition, the Bucs had a positive experience with high-priced free agent wide receiver Vincent Jackson last season. Jackson, who had two DUI incidents while playing in San Diego, signed a five-year, $55.55 million deal last season. Jackson, represented by the same agents as Revis, was productive last season (72 catches, 1,384 receiving yards, eight touchdowns) and was also a high-character individual for the organization.

Finally, the Bucs are not afraid to spend on high-end players. Aside from Jackson last season, guard Carl Nicks had a strong season after signing as a free agent. Also, one of the key additions to the Bucs prior to the team winning the Super Bowl in the 2002 season was wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.

The Bucs had to give up two first-round picks and give Johnson an eight-year, $56 million contract extension (the highest ever for a wide receiver at the time). Johnson became one of the team's top offensive weapons on the way to the title.

If we get anything less than a 1st and a 3rd in this year's draft, there's going to be no riots because no one will go to games.

I agree with whoever the author of the article is that we'd honestly be better off with a 2014 first rounder than the 2013. Just make them kick in an extra pick in this year's draft. I say we take the 2013 3rd rounder, 2014 first AND 4th that can escalate to a 3rd dependant upon his play. 2014's draft should be much better than this year.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.
