Per ESPN: http://espn.go.com/n...-five-surgeries

Wonder if this is enough for him to fall to the jets at 9. I'd love to somehow get him at 9 and the best available OLB at 13 if possible.

Guy had 6 ints in 3 years at Alabama. As much as Alabama grabs leads and forces teams to abandon their gameplan and start throwing the ball, Miliner doesn't sound like a playmaker to me.

Judging a CB on interceptions is ridiculous. Look at his passes defensed (20) and receiving yards allowed. Rhodes broke up (7) passes last season, Trufant (9), Banks (7).

I think that at #9, you're shooting for a play maker and for a CB, you judge that based on his ability to pick off passes. In the Top 10, you're trying to get a guy who's going to be a matchup nightmare for the next decade. i don't see Milliner in that mold. Good CB in a bad CB class. He's not half as good as Patrick Peterson and is projected to go in the same range. I think he and Tavon Austin are products of weak draft classes at their position.

Won't necessarily argue that...I think they are being overvalued for sure.

However, I think Milliner is a great CB, even if he only knocks the pass down when it gets there. But don't be surprised if he turns into an interception machine, because INT stats can really come down to good or bad luck sometimes.

That is alot of injuries for a 21 year old. May be a sign. Buyer beware. If we draft him he will always be linked to Revis too. Rather have Jordon / Mingo and if he is there @ 13 we can take a look. If not then oh well.

Good point. I meant to write this before...but if you draft Dee Milliner it means the Jets basically traded Revis for a downgrade at CB and mid round pick next year.

The trade of Revis has to be a philosophical change...preferring to put resources in the pass rush over the coverage.

If we don't get a stud QB or stud Pass Rusher out of this trade, it was a bust

Well if we dont land any pro bowler / Elite player for the revis pick the trade is a bust considering we just traded a hall of fame potential player for 1 lousy first rounder. More than likely, whoever we take, we got the worst end of the deal in terms of career vs career comparrisons.

And even if we do land a great player, the trade will still be a bust in 5 years if the jets either trade him or let him walk...
