He must have some dirt on Woody.
You never know what their dynamic is. Woody hired him as soon as he got the team. They probably have a history and a good working relationship. The Jets haven't been drafting badly in the past decades. Sure we've had some major misses (D Rob, Gholston) but we've also had some hits (Revis, Mangold). From the outside looking in, it's pretty hard to judge how good Bradway is at his job because when you miss, the blame gets passed around and when you hit, everyone takes credit. What's funny tho is that teams that do well, get praised for continuety and keeping the same faces in the same positions, when teams do poorly, everyone wants everyone to be fired. I don't have a problem with Bradway, I have a bigger problem with the fact that our HC, as fun a guy as he is, openly admits to having zero input on the offense... but he went on to spent a 5th overall pick on a QB as soon as he got here. Kinda makes you wonder, did he have a clue what he was looking at when he scouted Sanchez? Was Sanchez doomed from the start or would have he been a different player under a different coach? Who knows. Point being, a lot of blame for "busts" gets laid at the feet of scouting, while basically, their job is to guess how a player is going to perform in the future based on variables that are entirely outside of their control. They say a good weather man is right 40% of the time, I think if a scout is right 25% of the time, he's considered good.
