Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:57 AM) He has, except he is stupid for putting the shit on his neck. He has to hide that better.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) @Bischoff_Scott: Per a source, the #Lions are having discussions about moving #Suh before the draft to move up as high as possible in the first round.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) now that would be a fairly big move
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:46 AM) If they trade Suh to get Watkins, I would laugh. That doesn't really make their team better, they already have a high yardage passing attack
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:47 AM) They have the best WR in football and they signed Tate who will be a excellent #2 to Johnson
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:53 AM) too many smokes screens. f*** the extra 2 weeks of this shit, the draft should be tonight!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 01:04 PM) The media is so dumb, Jon Gieger Revis' best friend tweets a pic from the Jets website and says it's revis, and all of the media goes along with it making fun of the Jets when it was really Jeremy Kerleyr.

QB David Garrard told 2 players he no longer plans to be with the #Jets, per sources. Nothing official from team. Unclear if cut/retired as reported on twitter by Ian Rapoport.

Huge news. He's probably retiring, which basically guarantees that it's going to be a QB competition throughout OTAs, camp and even preseason. Should be fun to see Geno and Sanchez compete in a completely new offense to both of them.

Edit: "Having to call it quits. My knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell after practices. Limiting what I can do." Looks like he is retiring.

We have 5 QBs on the roster. the only one i can 100% say will be on the roster opening day is geno. So if i had to guess i'd say

(% chance of staying with team)

Geno Smith 100 - just drafted in the 2nd round. no way he doesn't make the team
Mark Sanchez 75 - financial responsibility makes it easier and cheaper to keep him this year.
Greg McElroy 75 - cost almost nothing and should serve as the #3 Qb for the season
David Gerrard 50 - old over the hill vet who hasn't played in a year and cost more then a younger player due to vet minimum
Matt Simms 0 - was brought in to take reps in practice and nothing else.

So we will keep 3 for sure and my money is on sanchez, smith, and mceroy staying on
Get it done MT

Good. I'm happy to see that McElroy will keep a roster spot. The kid deserves it because he's damn sure earned it so far and got more of an ovation than any other QB on the roster last season. He also had the entire team respond to him better than any other QB either.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

I love how the OL responded to him.

Damn.....just had to bring some kind of negative into it didn't you? BUT......when he first came in, the O-line did respond to him & they drove right down the field and scored didn't they? It's just afterward that they let him get killed.

That's because Tebow was inactive, and Sanchez had thrown 2-3 picks that game and played like complete horseshit the whole year. If Eric Cartman was the only other active QB then the stadium would have chanted for Cartman.

Yep. You have to think Idzik, Rex and Mornhinweg thought this a possibility when they decided to sign Garrard, rather than pursue any of the other veteran QBs available. That suggests they were comfortable then going with what they have left on the roster in such an instance - and that drafting a QB was very much on their minds.

I found it great... David basically helped us rid of our QB mess... We now have 3 QB's Mark, Geno, and Greg Mcelroy... Does anyone know if Mcelroy ever played at AL when Millner was there?

McElroy was a senior at Alabama when Milliner was a freshman so the answer is yes.
