Jetsman05 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:45 PM) you want the NFL to say sorry and you want Morningwig canned. You're a clown
bleedsgreen Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:45 PM) Gotta give credit to greenbay. That's a good football team
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:46 PM) f*** an apology. It's not going to change anything in the standings which is what matters at the end of the season.
FlyHiJets Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:46 PM) definitely reminds me of AFC Championship in Denver
canuckfan Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:46 PM) marty ranks up there with bittfumble
canuckfan Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:47 PM) buttfumble
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:47 PM) The should have made sure he knew who was calling the time out. Hell Rex was on his right and Marty was on his left.
mgjetman Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:47 PM) Getting lazy with a minute 50 on the clock before half was the nail in the coffin.
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:48 PM) The ref
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:49 PM) There is plenty of blame to spread around. No team should lose a 17 point lead anyway.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:50 PM) DUDS - Miliner and Marty
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:50 PM) BRUTAL LOSS
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:52 PM) I really don't blame Marty because it's the refs job to make sure he sees who is calling the timeout. Plus the ball had already been snapped before he even noticed somebody was calling a TO.
mgjetman Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:53 PM) Just gave that game away. WTH!!!
Mr_Jet Icon : (14 September 2014 - 06:54 PM) He didn't even blow the whistle until Geno already had dropped back to pass. The play was already well underway.
bleedsgreen Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:03 PM) I heard it when the ball was already in the air
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:05 PM) but it shouldn't of come down to that TO blunder
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:05 PM) we did give up a 18 point lead
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:05 PM) so we fucked up and lost

ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:13 PM) Marty just picks the worse time to call those wildcat plays
ganggreen2003 Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:13 PM) they are drive killers
ROBJETS Icon : (14 September 2014 - 07:27 PM) Problem is the corners. We knew this before the start of the season. I was amazed at how well they did last week and the first half but eventually the weakness showed

I know its only preseason so take it with a grain of salt.

QBs - Sanchez was sanchez. he was up and down. he was pick 6 once on a bad play, and should have been picked twice but Winslow saved it. On the TD drive though he looked great. Most likely he'll start. I don't want geno out yet. our o-line wasn't looking good and i don't want a rookie being shell shocked. let him learn. As far as geno, not much. had mstly check downs. missed some open guys that could have been big plays (espcially on the one he got hurt) and then he got hurt. McElroy looks like he cna be a solid backup for us. smart QB but lacks an arm. underthrew a WR wide open but he dropped it anyway. should have been a TD if mcelroy throws deeper and he holds on

O-line - still looking bad. Colon RG, LG, and RT all looking weak again.

WR/TEs - were not looking good here either. winslow looks like a solid pick-up. could take over for keller w/o missing a step. edwards isn't the play he was but is reliable and tough and big. kerley is good in the slot but not a number 1. hill looks more imrpoved but not ready to be a number 1. holmes might not play. i think next year we'll look better at WR but this year isn't looking good. cumberland showed potential as did gates

D-line - looks alot better. played well and was solid

LBers - got pressure and played well. group looks young and faster. pace is the weak spot and thats a good thing. still need 1 more OLD. barnes was a nice situational pickup

CBs - no revis, but still a solid group. cro is a beast but still sin't revis. but a top 5 number 1 CB IMO. but still revis is the best and is a big loss. milner looked good. wilson is a solid nickel. but out depth after the top 3 sucks

Safties - will be a weakness still. both safties looked bad. landry looks slow and the others look lost and confused

EDIT: forgot RBs

RBs - Not looking good. powell is a decent between the tackles guy but unproven, goodson is probably gonna be cut before he plays a down due to legal issues, mcknight can be a playmaker at times but isn't a starter, ivory is always hurt. we need a true number 1 RB, not a group of decent players like we have

It was a horribly thrown ball by Sanchez. That was way behind Winslow.

I disagree. I think the ball was thrown okay. Winslow stopped running and turned around. He was on the right side on the formation and when he stopped and turned, he tipped the ball up with his right hand. If it was thrown behind him, he would've had to have tipped it with his left. He had to tip the ball because it was high and out front of him, if he had just kept running, it wouldn't have been such a difficult attempt.

I think your off. winslow ran a simple hook route and sanchez missed by a mile. even if winslow didn't tip it, it was going right into the DBs hands. If you have a 6'5 TE reaching all the way out and can only get a finge on the ball while he's stationary, tahts a bad throw

second highlight

I'm not sure it would of gone straight to the db that was closing down on it but still kellen was what 6 yards away? and is a fairly big target.

I feel like Sanchez put that ball in a spot to hit Winslow if he had kept running. I think Winslow ran the wrong route or broke his route off.

Winslow chipped the guy who rushed sanchez and threw his arms up. Sanchez made a throw to avoid the rushers hands in the air but it was an off target throw because winslow was not in position to make that catch. Very dangerous situation and the defense did a good job putting pressure to force a bad throw.

The pick 6 i still dont understand i watched the clip a couple times and i see sanchez back peddling looking for the play to develop to make his throw but when he makes his throw i dont see the jet he was aiming for. it just looks like a really bad decision.

Nevermind sanchez threw the ball before the rusher put his hands up. Kellen was late getting to his spot but its still a very poor throw.

I feel like they weren't on the same page, lets see if these things keep happening as the preseason moves along.

On the pick 6 I feel like Sanchez either didn't see the defender at all, or didn't expect him to get off the block. No excuse on that one.

I thought that Tommy Bo was the receiver.

the full back that ate dirt? He was on the ground doing a T-Bo

a fb screen? i mean he would be the closest one to where the ball would of hit the ground but i would figure he would be out there blocking since fbs typically don't catch screen passes.

That's why the play didn't seem that crazy to me. Tommy Bo got held and fell, Brick danced with Ansah but didn't make the block, and Sanchez took a hook shot and it got picked off on a great play by Ansah, shit happens. It was what, his 3rd pass of the season? I'm not overly concerned.
